Do you expect people to treat you nicely? Or are you open to any random action from people and prepare yourself for that?
Nice one I can tell you that prepare yourself for peoples behaviour because even family expect what is not good from them so when they do you good things you keep it in your mind that it was a mistake prepare yourself to be a stronger person in life

One way or the other,I don't always expect that as I do believe that as humans we all have right to how will think or use our brain too,so I sincerely believe that it will be of no use if all will expect from people is to be treated right one way or the other,so it is better that we just accept the random treatment too at times ,so that we won't get hurt when will are being giving less regards
I never expect anyone to treat me nicely but I am glad when they do. When I see someone on the street on in a car I have no idea what just happened to them. I don't know if their mom just died or if they are just hyper. I take a deep breath and let them go by.

I don't always expect people to treat me nicely, although I'd appreciate if they do. However, I understand there are some people who won't treat other nicely, so basically I expect nothing until they act. I understand that sometimes for people to treat me nicely I have to first be nice to them so I try to do my part
I never expect anything in particular from others because they have their own journey and I can't control that. What I can control are my own actions so I always try to be kind (or at least my definition of kind) to others around me.
Really the question is touch one, and it depend on an individual because nobody like to be treated bad, so for me I love to be treated good and I love to be treating people eqaully. Our lord even said it in his holybook that we should love our neighbors as we do to ourself,
I myself try my best to treat people nicely and with gratitude. But I never expected anything in return. Don't let expectations from other people change your personality. Be yourself and how you want to be with others. Spread the smile and !LUV but don't expect the same in return, but generally people reply with gratitude too not everyone is jerk but I prefer not to expect or even think about it. Just be who you are. 😊

I think is best to just treat people kindly and not expect much from them in doing the same,
But been kind to people has a way of coming back to us, so be just be kind.
I agree with you and from what I was thought and what my people use to say,been kind to someone those it mean you should b expecting kindness from him back.and also been kind to people it should be something we should be having it in mind that am doing this for them so they wl pay me back when it arise.
From my view and understanding of philosophy of life and human being in general,human being shouldn't be doing something for and expecting it back.

Use the Eccency browser. They give you points for breathing. How many points do you want and what do you want to do with them? I have a lot I didn't use yet.
I want 10500 points, i use them to boost and promot post for myself and other fellow hivians with good content, by so doing i will get enough credit resource and enough HP then i use my weight to upvote myself and upvote other hivians who makes good post....
what's the difference between boost and promote? I used boost yesterday in the hope my post would reach a bigger audience, but I think maybe promote would have been better..

I need help making a decision so I decided to seek advice from my POB talk family.
So I'm to pick between two options
The first one is in my best interest but will hurt someone I care about.
The second is not in my best interest but will make them happy.
I've tried to find a middle ground but it's not working. What do you suggest I do?
This is a very big one mate and I must say this right now will actually put you on the phase of sitting on the fence self and I will say that it is very vital that we all seek for our own happiness cause to me ,that is very vital and important and let me say it will be very hard for you to actually balance this right now,but I will suggest that we always learn how to make people happy irrespective of how hard it mind be mate
