It's been a battle. well, not really anything so hard, but it did take some time and seemed kinda hard at times. see.. I got sick.. which is pretty normal for me at times, but this time lasted about a year or more and I lost about 60 lbs.
It took me until a few months ago to reach what I, and google, think is my ideal weight for my age and height.. 165-170 lbs.

I always think of Bruce Lee as the perfect human physique. I wonder what he would look like had he lived to be my age. (52) I think a slightly better comparison in looks would be his son who is also half Caucasian, like his son was and I am.
so, as a living example.. I picture this guy..

Donny yen, who is 62 now and is most famous for the movie Ip Man, (although I knew of this great actor/martial artist for many years)

I want those forearms.
💪😎🤙
That’s a powerful journey you’ve been through, Boss. Even if you say it wasn’t so hard, living with illness for a year and losing 60 lbs is no small thing. It takes resilience to ride out that kind of challenge and then find yourself back at what feels like your ideal weight. Btw, those guys are looking good; but they're not my type. 🤣
I agree that healthy habits should be built step by step. Trying to change everything at once often leads to giving up, but small changes are easier to maintain.
yea.. i was as skinny as u are back then. :P
Great post! In my opinion, crash diets don't work. I've seen many people go on crash diets and then gain the weight back. The best thing is to create healthy habits that lead to guaranteed results. All it takes is a little consistency and patience. In conclusion, weight management is an ongoing process, not a goal to be achieved in a few days.
