Good day great members of hive community. I remain my humble self @sammimed . Today, we will be talking about the effect or dangers of poor management of diabetes.

Have you ever wonder what happens if diabetics is not managed well?? What's the end product of poor diabetics management??

Today I want to quickly say what we should expect when diabetes Mellitus is not manage well. It's really sad that most people feel diabetes is just a simple condition to play with.

When you have Diabetes and it's not managed well, allot of things come up along your health, this includes;

1. There will be allot of work for your heart to keep pumping blood to the part of the body as there is narrowing of the blood vessels. Because of this much work, heart condition will arise.

1. Stroke: it is not something to joke with. When there is narrowing of the blood vessels as a result of diabetes, there won't be enough blood supply to the part of the brain which can lead to stroke.

2. Poor wound healing and numbness of the lower extremities: have you ever wonder why people with diabetes are been warn not to injure themselves? This is so because due to the poor blood supply to various part of the body, when there is injury, it will be hard for healing to occur. Also some of them might have lost of function of the foot because of the poor blood supply.

3. We can't forget blur vision or blindness as what to expect if poor diabetics management. Because of the pressure in the optic nerve and other layers of the eyes, vision can be lost gradually.

   Allot of things can arise from poor diabetes management. Please my great people let's educate one another to promote long life. Thank you so much.

How does Diabetes result to narrowing the blood vessels causing the increase in blood pressure..

This a very good question sir. Many explanation can be given for this but let me use this;

1. Because of the presence of high glucose in the body, the blood vessels becomes sticky and close the gaps between them. Eg when honey is poor in between two papers or objects you observe the they are stick together, similar thing happened between blood vessels.
2. Because the blood vessels are stick together, blood won't flow fast in the vessels which means the blood will flow under low pressure.
