Last minute, first, and last time #FungiFriday contribution for this year.
@ewkaw, I'm bringing some mushrooms + cause you asked for it (oh, those was macaroons) :P
Ta daaa!
I don't like chasing them through the woods, but I adore them on a plate.
Mushrooms!
Oyster mushrooms and champignons are the most commonly used in my case.
I don't know too much about them from an expert point of view, what I know is that they are a lovely combination with puff pastry.
A pinch of basil, chives, pepper, and salt.
Combined with peppers and leeks?
Yummy!
Oyster is sinewy unlike champignons, that's why the advantage of first being prepared always belongs to them.
They look like little monsters with tentacles.
I read somewhere that mushrooms should not actually be washed as we normally do with other groceries, but wiped with a dry cloth.
They are also a great substitute for meat. At least that played the role to me when I was on two years break from consuming meat.
(tongue out)
Wanna?
🎄
Like this mushroom is very tasty to eat, let alone cooked noodles.
Haaaa!! :D
I wanna! Damn they look tasty :)
I like chasing them in the woods and eat them.
But... no macaroons?
#macaroonmonday... las chance! 🤣
I'm full, rolling around the flat and I haven't them for almost 2 years dammit!
I had one seriously kicking butt coffee shop nearby with salty caramel combo and lavender, and they closed - suddenly :(
Never tried to make them, lot of effort for my taste :D
I keep wanting to make them. But too lazy and no time and I normally choose something fast like muffins :p
Then at least try lava muffins ;]
This looks tasty!! 🍽
Oh, it was indeed it was🤤
