Today I want to share with you what else I found popping up underneath the snow the weekend before last week.
As you know, I could finally wander around the gardenβ¦ π as the snow started to melt. So I did the moment I could π I saw in a lot of places fungi on logs πͺ΅ and found also this tree stump.

The following 8 photos are taken with my phone π on 4 MAY 2024
Letβs have a look :
I saw some large and younger fungi on the side and top of the tree stump. The bright blue sky was such a beautiful contrast.
Here a view from above.
On the side there was also this sticky stuffβ¦
The moss looked green although it has been covered by 2 meters of snow for half the year.
The other side had old fungi⦠it got green as you can see.
Still some snow in the garden in these photos. Today the garden is all clear. No more snow.
The forest has still some patches of snow where the sun doesnβt reach βοΈπ³π²

The first spring flowers started to bloom yesterdayβ¦. πΌπΌπΈπΈ I will share them soon with you π
This week I have been clearing up the garden as itβs a mess. It has not been maintained wellβ¦ so I have been busy the last days and will be a bit more.
Have to get it ready for spring and summer βοΈπ and so I can plant the seedlings outside soon π±π±π±π± for our veggies and herbs.
