FUNGIFRIDAY : TROGIA INFUNDIBULIFORMIS (MARASMIACEAE)

in FungiFriday3 years ago (edited)

Hello fellow Fungi Friday Friends, I can't believe we are now entering week 24 of this community, on this occasion I will share a photo of a mushroom that I found two weeks ago, this is a photo I took when my friends and I were hunting for macro photos at a forest not far from where I live, namely in Lhokseumawe - Aceh.

As usual, when I don't know the name of the mushroom I share I try to find out the name by matching the photo in my smartphone gallery on Google lens, and after I finish matching the photo I find a similar image there on Shutterstock, and then I found the name of this mushroom there, the name of this mushroom is "TROGIA INFUNDIBULIFORMIS" and on Shutterstock it is also stated that this mushroom is a mushroom that belongs to the MARASMIACEAE family.

Then I tried to find some information that explained about this mushroom on google search, on a search with the keyword Trogia Infundibuliformis I did not find a wikipedia link that explained the name, then I tried to find information on google search with the keyword Marasmiaceae, on wikipedia it was written that ;

"The Marasmiaceae are a family of basidiomycete fungi which have white spores. They mostly have tough stems and the capability of shrivelling up during a dry period and later recovering." - Read More On Wikipedia

By the way, if you look at this mushroom, it is similar to the mushroom I shared a few days ago, but if you look at the top of this mushroom and the mushroom I shared a few days ago it's different, the name of the mushroom I shared a few days ago is "Marasmiellus Candidus", you can also see the photo I shared here.

Okay friends, below are some photos of a mushroom called Trogia Infundibuliformis which I will share on fungifriday today, and by the way all the photos I share this time were taken using a smartphone camera and the help of a macro lens, hope you like it ;)
