God has used you for Peter in an awesome way.
Most times God will permit some things to happen in our lives not because he hates us or because He did not care.
He will allow those things in order to:
Test our faith, know the level of our patience, know if we truly love Him, if we will overcome the temptation, etc.
Note:He is always with us in any circumstance.
