Over the weekend, one of the most important people in the whole house, my dear mother, celebrated her birthday. It was a very special day for her, so we gave her a big surprise: a cake and a little family outing to eat something and end the day at the café, just to see my dear mother smile and celebrate her birthday. since it is another year of life and it is a great thrill to have her by our side and for her to continue enjoying many more special moments, especially drinking more coffee. That's why we stopped at the café I always visit, to get a table and order dessert and coffee to continue celebrating this birthday that we had all been looking forward to.
First of all, the place has changed its theme and is now decorated for Christmas, with lots of beautiful decorations, especially a big Christmas tree with lights and lots of ornaments, which gives the café a wonderful touch. This is one of the best times of the year, so we have to enjoy it, and soon we will also be decorating our house for Christmas. My mom is super happy, as she likes these kinds of family outings, and no matter how simple they may be, they are very meaningful for everyone, simply because they allow us to create unique moments. So, she was beaming with happiness and enjoyed every second we were in that café, even though there were a lot of people there at the time.
This time, we all ordered black coffee, which is an energizing drink that we all like, so we got medium coffees, and the surprise was that they came with a small cookie that was very tasty and added a special touch when combined with the coffee. The coffee was quite hot, but as we talked, it cooled down. The surprising thing is that we talked about a little bit of everything, even though we see each other every day at home. We always find something to talk about, and that's why, when we realized it, we had already spent more than an hour in the café enjoying this great gift for our mother in honor of her birthday.
When we finished, we left, but before that we bought some extra sweets, since that same day we were going to visit other family members for a birthday, and so we took them some sweets from that café, which are wonderful. The sweets were very small cookies with a rather interesting shape, but they had a chocolate coating that gave them a very special and delicious touch. It had been a while since I had eaten them, and we bought my mom another sweet that also looked very tasty, to give her another gift, which she ended up sharing with everyone, since she is not very fond of sweets.
It was a very pleasant and enjoyable outing, one of those outings that, without much planning, end up being the best. The important thing was to see our mother enjoying herself, laughing, and spending a different kind of day with a good cup of black coffee. Besides, she is the person who is always busy and who has been there for me throughout my short life, so now it's time for us to give her everything she has given us. I'm sure there will be more outings to other cafes so we can see the Christmas decorations and continue to build more memories, so that in the end we will have a big puzzle of every outing where coffee was present.
