A group breakfast is always a good idea, because while you decide what to drink or eat, there are lots of conversations going on at the tables and commitments to try other things after seeing the menu and wanting to eat everything.
At the Caracas Rock Race, each participant was given a VIP pass courtesy of Canel.
Canel is a restaurant with a variety of dishes, where you can find the best breakfasts, lunches, burgers, desserts, coffee, milkshakes—it's really very complete.
And best of all, you can eat desserts without so much guilt, because their desserts are 0% gluten, 0% sugar, and they specialize in cheesecakes.
Yesterday, after doing my respective training with the @hiverun group, we went to redeem our VIP passes.
When we presented the pass, we had the option of ordering two arepas stuffed with grilled beef or grilled chicken.
So, we each presented our passes. I ordered two arepas with meat, and @abima04 ordered two arepas with chicken, but we swapped so we could try both. I particularly liked the chicken arepa, which also had chopped seasonings, known in some places as pico de gallo.
To accompany these delicious arepas, I ordered a large cappuccino, which was also delicious. My companions also ordered coffee and juices.
I thought the service at Canel was very good. I loved the place because its white and green decor reflects freshness and neatness, and its eclectic decor gives it a touch of space and elegance.
Although I didn't order anything else, I was able to see the menu, and they have a range of prices. The drinks aren't expensive, and the sugar-free desserts are a little pricey, but that's due to the ingredients they use. Besides, they're very good.
I already want to go back to try a passion fruit marquesa, which I fell in love with.
