An Expected View
It's been a while since I've spent time with my cousins. Today was a great day. We finally managed to arrange a date. I had agreed to spend a couple of days with them, and we finally did. What I loved about it all was that my arrival coincided with coffee time and International Coffee Day. While the table was being set, upon my arrival, laughter and warm hugs immediately greeted me. I immediately took a seat. And as I greeted them, that aroma of coffee also enveloped me.
The table was already set, and I remembered the photos. I almost forgot them, as I reached for my cup to drink it, and God, the photos, so I was able to take a few. Quickly, I focused on my cousin with her baby. I had two other cousins who didn't want to be in the group, a cousin with his black coffee who was already on his second cup, and he doesn't like photos. I didn't waste the moment, and my older cousin was willing to pose. The excitement of the moment was my arrival and that our coffees wouldn't get cold. After being more informal behind the curtains, our get-together lasted until dawn, between sips of coffee and delicious pastries, the evening became beautiful.
It was a special day for me. The last time we shared a table was months ago, at my house, so excitement was in the air. This day, we all wanted coffee with milk, and it didn't take long for the first anecdotes and stories from our childhoods to come. Every sip of coffee brought back more memories. I already missed those conversations.
The two days flew by, and I realized that these moments are what truly matter. Hugs to my friends at Cinnamon Cup Coffee.
A lovely family gathering, with coffee a must-have to liven up the conversation and the moment. The coffee looks delicious.
