On my trip to Colony Tovar, in Aragua State, I had the opportunity to visit Coffee Tovar Cs Handmade Product. How could I go to Colony Tovar and not try their coffee?! It was something that could not happen. Without a doubt, if you go to the small German colony in the Caribbean, you must visit this place.

The facade of Coffee Tovar Cs Handmade Product is just like all the German houses in this iconic town. There is so much identity; you feel as you walk in how iconic the place is. You will want to immerse yourself in the experience little by little! In my case, I started to take pictures and enjoy the experience.

1.jpg

At the entrance of the place, there was a sign with words written in chalk that read Coffee Tovar Cs, cherry, fermented, dried, dried, pilado, roasted and ground. All the words that a lover like me would want to read. There were also dried coffee flowers on the door. There was also a notice for sightseeing tours, as in most of the shops in Colony Tovar.

image.png image.png

The ceiling of the artisanal coffee shop was decorated with cups, a teapot and a coffee thermos. I really liked that decorative aspect. Everything is coffee in this place; I loved it.

2.jpg

There was also a machine that ground the coffee—that is, the one that carried out the manufacturing process. Coincidentally, the machine attracts attention because it is at the entrance of Coffee Tovar Cs Handmade Product.

Upon entering immediately, I was given a taste of their artisanal coffee, which was a delight. The coffee had a unique taste; it had its own sweetness. We tasted the coffee as it should be: without sugar. If you visit this place, you can try the coffee for free - this is a commercial hook!

3.jpg

The interior decoration of the premises was traditional, but evoked the Venezuelan national coffee culture itself. I liked every single painting on the walls of Coffee Tovar Cs Handmade Product.

image.png image.png

In the center of the shop, there were sighs, coffee beans, ground coffee and all kinds of products made from coffee. To recapitulate with the painting, it seems that these were the first houses made in Colony Tovar.

5.jpg

How is the attention? The guide carefully told us that this was one of the highlights of the tour we were doing. He wasn't wrong; the treatment was impressive.

4.jpg

Walking into this tent, there was a tractor. One of those was used for sloughing the land and then planting coffee. The coffee bags in the background decorate the space traditionally; you connect directly with the coffee production process.

image.png image.png

I don't know about you, but I fell in love with this implicit decoration that says I love coffee. It's thoughtful and subtly done.

1.jpg

There was also an espresso machine in the shop, and the use of biscuit cups was impressive. This is to reduce plastic pollution, the shop assistant told me.

At Coffee Tovar Cs Handmade Product, they give an exhibition on the process they use to produce and process coffee. That's why, before starting the explanation, they give tourists a small cup of coffee as a hook to let them know what their brand tastes like. In the explanation, the speaker also gives the tourists ripe, but not dried, coffee. In other words, she gave me coffee fruit. The taste of this coffee fruit was incredible; it was so sweet, it was amazing.

1.jpg

The speaker also showed how each of the machines in the shop was used. With which the beans were dried, roasted and ground. Likewise, Coffee Tovar Cs Handmade Product also sells traditional ceramic coffee cups. Very local and country.

As the speaker explains the coffee-making process, you see each of the machines. Some are more hidden than others.

image.png image.png

image.png image.png

One thing I loved was seeing an old pylon. It was so big that it impresses you, in Venezuela this was the one used to grind coffee. The pilón is part of our culture and identity as a country, it was also used to grind corn to make arepas.

1.jpg

In the shop, in one corner, was a small coffee storage machine; around it were many sacks decorated with packaging of the shop's artisanal coffee.

image.png image.png
image.png
image.png image.png

The speaker also gave us roasted coffee to smell and taste. It was amazing; the taste was nice and smooth. It is one of the most effective places to sell; there were three tastings that made you want to take their coffee. At that point, the explanation of the coffee-making process ended, and I was able to visualize the shop in more detail.

1.jpg

I came across grinders, more coffee thermoses, beans, bicycles, cups, ground coffee and lamps in a 19th century style.

image.png image.png
image.png
image.png image.png

In my case, I bought two packets of coffee and a sweet made of chocolate and coffee beans. I spent about 20 USDT, or HBD, in Venezuelan legal tender. There are many things to choose from and buy. Some souvenirs, for example. I preferred the coffee, which is delicious, and the chocolates.

One of the most wonderful experiences I have had so far is visiting this coffee shop. Without a doubt, you must visit and buy their local coffee. The experience is full of fun, beautiful photographs, tastings, and a friendly treatment of tourists who love coffee and knowledge. I care a lot about the culture, the value and effort behind the production of a product.

I hope you can visit Coffee Tovar Cs Handmade Product; I know you will love it. You will be able to drink a unique coffee made with a lot of effort, love and family value.

Café Tovar Cs Producto Artesanal 📍 Colonia Tovar: Aragua

Me gustó mucho ése aspecto decorativo.
