😍 Let me share with you my cup of coffee today!

For the cover of the post I used an old picture that I took back in 2012 -- this is the smallest jezzwa I have in my small collection, but perhaps the oldest and the coolest of them. I definitely gonna tell you a story I had with it... someday :P today its just a pretty picture to catch your eye!
So... on this happy sunny October day (not like yesterday: misty and gloomy) my heart goes on! It was my wife who followed our babygirl to school today, and I stayed at home (have a lot of work for my job recently). We drank tea at breakfast ... and when my wife returned home, she brought a surprise! And not one, but two, two pleasant surprises.
Это Моя жена сегодня проводила дочку в школу, а я оставался дома (очень много дистанционной работы). Мы выпили чаю за завтраком... а когда жена вернулась домой, то принесла с собой сюрприз! И даже не один, а целых два -- два приятных сюрприза!
She loves to pamper me, and she knows how-to. On her way back, she walked into the lovely local Bonapé mini-bakery and bought a huge Napoleon-type cake (I love puff pastry, that's my weak spot :). Lately, we used to try how this cake is prepared in different cafes.
Моя любимая любит меня побаловать, и знает как. На своем пути назад, она зашла в прекрасную мини-пекарню Бонапе и купила огромное пирожное типа "Наполеон" (я люблю слоеное тесто, это мое слабое место). И в последнее время мы любим пробовать, как готовят это пирожное в разных кафе.
It is delicious, when its prepared correctly. Needless to say, that it absolutely inspired me -- and triggered creating of a great coffee!
Our experiments (we collected samples from four local cafes) showed that the best Napoleon cakes are being made in Bonapé cafe!

And for her beloved herself, she bought delicious rye bread with seeds. By the way, my wife knows how to bake bread with yeast sourdough herself! The most correct and natural bread, exactly as our ancestors did. Now she does not bake it, in fact, she is tired - this is a very demanding business, the process must be continuous, you cannot order the yeast to "pause." But it is also very grateful, uplifting, in terms of the return that you receive ... one way or another, but now we dont cook bread ourselve, but buy it, alas! You need to pamper yourself as well :)
А для любимой себя она купила вкусного ржаного хлеба с семечками. Кстати, моя жена умеет сама выпекать хлеб на дрожжевой закваске! Самый правильный и натуральный хлеб, в точности как это делали наши предки. Сейчас она его не печет, на самом деле устала - это очень требующее дело, процесс должен быть непрерывным, нельзя приказать дрожжам "встать на паузу". Но оно и очень благодарящее, взрающее, в плане отдачи которую ты получаешь... так или иначе, а сейчас мы хлеб покупаем, увы!
But back to coffee. We are addicted to 'Guatemala Antigua' coffee from the Russian brand Jardin. This information is unlikely to be useful to you, this is not an international brand and you are unlikely to find it in your local stores. but for my Russian friends: highly recommend!
Но возвращаюсь назад к кофе. Мы пристрастились к кофе 'Guatemala Antigua' от российского бренда Jardin. Вряд ли инфа будет полезной, это не интернациональный бренд и вы не найдете его в местных магазинах, а для российских френдов нотабене: весьма рекомендую!
Very decent coffee in the middle price range. The packaging looks like this. This is kind of "industrial package" for coffee shops and bars, with the package weight of 1 kg. Such packaging is much more profitable to buy, rather than usual retail version packed as 0.5 or 0.3 kg. The price is about 1600 rubles, and with a small discount the packaging cost us 1100 rubles, which is about 15USD (for comparison: the minimum prices for coffee are about 500-600 rubles, which is about 8USD -> and this will not be coffee made from acorns ;).
Очень достойный кофе в средней ценовой категории. Упаковка выглядит вот так. Это типа "промышленный вариант" для кофеен и баров, развеска по 1 кг в пачке. Такую упаковку покупать гораздо выгоднее, чем 0,5 или 0,3 кг. Цена около 1600 рублей, а с небольшой скидкой упаковка стоила нам 1100 руб (для сравнения: минимальные цены на кофе около 500-600 рублей... и это будет кофе не из желудей).
Good light is, of course, the key to beautiful cards. I drink coffee in the back of the room (photo above), but for photographing, I still arrange cups on a chair near the windowsill, and use the light from the window (photo below). Feel the difference!
Хороший свет - это конечно ключ к красивым карточкам. Я пью кофе в глубине комнаты (фото выше), но для фотографирования все же расставляю чашки на стуле возле подоконника, и использую свет из окна (фото ниже). Почувствуйте разницу!

упс, а корица -- молотая что ли? молотую в кофе лучше не класть, я пол-палочки сую обычно. если положить сразу молотого порошка, = эээ... ну, в общем, будет не то, текстура кофе другая, там будет образовываться хня с пенкой наверху... порошок -- не то!

ps. in my opinion, the winners are the ones I captured near the window sill, under the decent sunlight. the one with coffee beans maybe is my personal fave. but beans are... they always turn out well on the pictures, nothing can spoil them.
