Hello coffee lovers at Hive!
I'm back with great pleasure again to share an exquisite Cuban coffee with you. This time, at a place I just discovered, as it recently opened.
This week, @cinnccf asks us about what makes us choose coffee shops over tea shops, and it's a very interesting question. Personally, I prefer both options, although I prefer coffee rather than tea if I had to choose between the two beverages.
Unfortunately, there is currently no place in my city that sells any type of tea. A few years ago, there were two magnificent places where tea was pleasantly consumed in various forms. I hope these places recover, or at least that new facilities are reborn where they exist.
As I was saying, I discovered a new café. It's located in a place I've been visiting frequently over the past few days, as you can see in other posts on my blog. This place is the El Mejunje Cultural Center, where I've already shown you another café located in one of its facilities.
This new café showcases a new look right at the main entrance. Its design plays with classic 19th and 20th-century concepts, perfectly in harmony with the surroundings, where trees and brick walls embrace us in a unique atmosphere, giving it a truly valuable appeal.
A unique detail of this place is the fact that it has a gas stove as an option for making coffee in case the electricity is out, something that has become common in my country lately.
Since Mejunje is a cultural center, you can enjoy coffee while a group of musicians prepare to rehearse their pieces, and so I wanted to share this moment with you so you can experience the unique atmosphere that is well worth enjoying to the fullest.
I'll order another strong cup of coffee with a sweet cookie and say goodbye for now.

Nuevamente regreso con todo placer para compartir juntos de un exquisito café cubano. Es esta oportunidad, en un lugar que acabo de descubrir pues recientemente lo inauguraron.
Esta semana, @cinnccf nos pregunta sobre aquello que nos hace elegir cafeterías en lugar de teterías y resulta una interrogante bien interesante. En lo particular, tengo predilección por ambas opciones realmente, aunque soy más de café que de consumir té si me diesen a escoger como única opción una de las dos bebidas.
Lamentablemente, en mi ciudad no existe actualmente ningún lugar donde expendan variante alguna de Té. Hace algunos años sí existían dos lugares magníficos donde el té era gratamente consumido en diversas variantes. Ojalá se recuperen esos sitios o que al menos renazcan nuevas instalaciones donde existan.
Como les decía, descubrí una nueva cafetería. Está enclavada en un lugar al que he estado visitando frecuentemente durante los últimos días y así lo podrán comprobar en otras publicaciones realizadas en mi blog. Este lugar es el Centro Cultural El Mejunje, del cual ya les he mostrado otra cafetería que tiene en una de sus instalaciones.
Esta nueva cafetería muestra una nueva visualidad justo en la entrada principal del local. Presenta un diseño que juega con conceptos clásicos de los siglos XIX y XX en plena armonía con el entorno, donde los árboles y las paredes de ladrillos nos abrazan en un clima único, características que le otorgan un atractivo realmente valioso.
Un detalle singular que posee este sitio estriba en el hecho de que cuenta con un fogón de gas como opción para hacer el café en caso de que la electricidad no exista, algo que es común en los últimos tiempos en mi país.
Comoquiera que el Mejunje es un centro cultural uno puede disfrutar del café mientras un grupo de músicos se disponen a ensayar sus obras y así quise compartir con ustedes el momento para que sientan la atmósfera peculiar que bien vale la pena disfrutar a plenitud.
Vuelvo a pedir otra taza de café bien fuerte acompañada de una galletita dulce y me despido por ahora.
