The first #sublimesunday of 2021 and it ain't a sunny one (or on a Sunday), reasonably priced French SUV is feeling a bit Frosty the Snow Man as a continued cold snap in the UK bites deep.
Of course with a New Year there comes New Hope that the misery Covid caused in 2020 might finally be over. Four days into the New Year, my boy heads back to School - New Year New Learning. Tonight our Prime Minister announces full lockdown - all schools closed. Fantastic co-ordination, after two weeks shut I'm really sure all the resources put into opening them for one single day was worth it.
Oh for those hot summer days, the exotic outdoor seating area does not look so appetising covered in a good layer of snow. And the BBQ is definately not getting used, @saffisara might be out roasting her meat whatever the weather but it's too cold for me.
Hopefully spring will be along soon, warmer weather and at least we can be outdoors without getting frostbite.
