A Good Place To Be

I was up and outside bright and early this morning in my garden.

Today was this first time in many days I spent the whole day home at my cabin.

I have fallen way behind in cutting and removing the old flowers blossoms.

With my gardening shears in hand I was getting ready to snip off an old expired Purple Coneflower blossom when I noticed this Grasshopper.

I thought for sure it hop, leap and fly away before I could get my phone in camera mode but it was kind enough to hang around and pose just long enough for me take a couple of pictures.

In complete stillness I watched and tried to keep in focus when it changed it's position.
I'm still anticipating it was going remove itself from my presence in a split second but it didn't.

A Slow Saturday morning in the garden. It's a good and perfect place. 🤗💕🌞
