PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape of Mechelen

in PhotoFeedlast year

Currently I'm working on a project for a client that is located in the historic city of Mechelen, in Belgium. So whenever both the time and the weather allow for it, I try to make a walk in the city center, just to go for some photo's. Sometimes with the drone, sometimes, like this time, only with the camera.
Let me show you around a bit!

Yes, it's one of the many nice views in the old city center of Mechelen. And the combination of the townhall and the cathedral is just magic!

It is, a lot of history, with nice historical buildings, and yet a very compact city. You can walk across the old city center in half an hour, and see thousands of pretty things.

Thanks for bringing me walking virtually in city of mechelen . :). I love the structure and the architecture . I wish our place has more building like this. Awesome photo :).

Thank you very much for your nice reply! ;-) Yeah, we have a lot of nice old, even medieval cities in Belgium. Would love to document all of them in photos!

Fine photos. It's been a while since I last saw “Fujifilm”. Back in the day that was my film of choice. Do modern film cameras take film and digital photos at the same time or did you have to scan your photos?

Thanks for your nice comment! ;-)
No, you currently still have to choose to use a “film” camera, or a “digital “ camera.
I do still use some film cameras, but only for fun. For my pro work I use the digital cameras. In this case, a Fujifilm X-T2, which has the advantage that it comes really close to the origin Fujifilm films. Of which Velvia was my favorite indeed ;-)
