The green color of the vegetation varies a lot, depending of many factors: the species of the plants, the time of the year, the latitud of the region where the plants are from, etc. It is not the same the green of the tropical regions and the green of the trees that you see in Northern Europe.
A plant with a very particular tone of green is the bamboo tree. I do not know if it has already a name, but I call it “bamboo green”. When we see the trees from a distance the leaves have this special color that I mention. Besides that they also have an interesting texture. In the photos that I show here, I tried to captured these facts. In the black and white images, I tried to captured the textures that I already mentioned.
El color verde de la vegetación varia mucho. Sus tonalidades depende de las especies, un factor muy importante es la latitud de donde son las plantas, ya que el verde de las regiones tropicales, es muy diferente al de zonas más templadas.
Una planta que tiene un verde muy particular es el bambú, al cual lo llamo a falta de mejor nombre “verde bambú”, desconozco si hay un nombre ya establecido para esta tonalidad. Y además cuando se ven de cierta distancia el follaje de estas plantas tiene una textura muy particular. En estas fotografías he tratado de captar este hecho, además presento las imágenes en blanco y negro, para resaltar las texturas antes mencionadas.
The photos were taken in Caracas (Venezuela), where the bamboo trees are very common. The camera used was the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and the edition was done in Gimp.
Las fotografías fueron tomadas en Caracas, donde son bastante comunes las plantas de bambú, con la cámara de un Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. La edición se hizo en Gimp.
