Have you lost Hive while making a transaction to Binance?? Here is the Solution.....

Some time ago, precisely on 15th March 2023, I published a post I wish I knew this thing about Binance before

The post told about an incident in which I lost 26 Hive while doing a transaction to a Binance account.

I asked someone to help me with the transaction to his account. He gave me his Binance ID. I transferred the amount to it.

However, the person didn’t receive the crypto in his wallet. In my quest for finding the reason, I figured out that Binance ID is comprised of 9 digits, while that person had given me an 8-digit ID.

I thought there was no way out for requesting a refund. In fact, it was what my friends on Hive told me.

I had no way but to accept what was happened and move on.

Almost a month later, on 23rd April 2023, @eddiespino visited my post with this comment

I was away from Hive so I couldn’t read the message immediately.

Twenty-three days ago, when I returned to Hive and responded to the comment, I found out that the Hive that I had lost was already refunded to my Hive wallet 😃.

A small amount of 0.05 Hive was deducted.

How I got those hives back without even claiming a refund?

In my conversation with Eddiespino I found out that it was he who claimed a refund for me. It worked well.

It means, not only it is possible to get a refund for a wrong transaction but one account may submit a request for another account.

I am thankful to @eddiespino for his friendly gesture.

I found this information worth sharing as many of us lose our assets become of incorrect transactions.

Now there is a way to get the lost amount back. 🤞

Woww... This makes things so much easier. I wonder if some other wallets have these options.

I guess the major problem in my case is how to track back those transactions. I've already lost upto 200 Hive due to this sorta mistake.

Hmmm. You lost the amount long ago. Tracking back is really tough.
