There are some people that no matter what they are going through in life, they will never ask for help except someone willingly offer to help them.... No matter how hungry they are, you can never see them beg a stranger for food and they find it hard to ask friends too, they are just used to dealing with their situations all alone...
I fall in this category of people and it is not even once or twice i have been in a situation where asking for help was something i needed to do but instead i kept mute and expect God to come save me and He always do...lol
Some of those memories flooded me tonight and i feel like sharing
This happened during my days in the secondary school, after the school closed for the day, me and my friends played football till evening before we departed, when i got to the garage where i had to board a vehicle home, i found out that i lost my transport fare, i started sweating from inside because i was perplexed and didn't know what to do... Even though the distance was long i could have decided to trek home but it was already getting dark and no way i can make it home before night fall ....
I saw many people and a thought was running on my mind that i should beg some passengers for money but my body and mouth didn't actively agree with me so i aborted the mission and was praying fervently that God should help me as it was past seven and it was already getting dark!
If it was during the afternoon and school close rushing hours, my friends would have helped me home but no more students in the garage, just me!.. I stand at a spot hoping for someone to save me and luckily for me, my angel appeared! It was my mum's friend that lives in the same estate with us, she was coming back from the market and when i saw her from afar i was happy but still i was scared and praying she calls me or else i would miss the chance of going home with her.. i greeted her and she was surprised to see me at that time, she ask me to follow her and my heart rejoice .... That was how i got saved that day... My mum was already waiting for me at the bus stop since i ought to be home already and it was getting dark, probably if i stayed longer there, she would have come searching for me, God bless our Mothers....
I can also never forget this story, my parent travelled that day but before they left, i was given money for food but again i lost it!, there was no food at home and my parent won't be back till late in the night.... I have a friend who i do go to their house to play and his mum is also my friend because we play ludo game together, infact i spend more time with the mum when am in their house than with my friends lol...
Even though i was hungry i didn't let it show or ask her for food, but mothers would always be mothers, they can listen to unspoken words from their children, she just finished preparing the beans that day and i guess she must have noticed i was looking so dull and she offered to give me some beans, mehn again my heart rejoice and i rushed home to take a plate to receive the blessings..
If she didn't offer to give me food that day, i won't have asked and i even remember i said no when she first offer to give me, but she insisted i must take it lol, dang if only she know how grateful i am that she insisted i take the food... I just find it so hard receiving things from people that are not my parent or siblings....
Been long i see the two women but my heart still pray for them wherever they are for helping a poor boy willingly without waiting for him to ask.....
This is one of the reason why i like to give people things without them asking, because some people do not know how to ask for help even though they need it badly, it is not their fault that is just how they are design and it is funny how those who don't know how to demand are the one who gives the more if they have it....
