Boredom is a feeling you get when nothing around you is interesting. I have been so busy for the past few years that there is no time to feel bored; my work never finishes. I only take breaks to do other things, like eat, take care of myself, and sleep... So there is no time to get bored, and sometimes when I feel like my work gets exhausting, that is when I will pick on those things I have on my to-do list, could be an interesting film I saw the trailer online or somewhere/someone I need to visit, and if I don't feel like doing anything, sleep helps! It never gets boring to sleep since I overwork myself and need to recharge my body and brain
But then, there used to be a time in the past that I did get bored, especially when I didn't engage in those activities that make life fun for me; I was still an extrovert and loved going out.
It was during my secondary school days, and when you are searching for a certified gambler, don't go too far, pick me! Now it makes me ponder on my life at that time, why do I love gambling? Was it to become a millionaire or just for fun? I think it was the latter; I was gambling to while away time, but it later became a habit.
My friends and I gamble on many things, playing football on the pitch, rolling dice, playing PlayStation games[FIFA, PES], Whot cards, and so on.

3 days before that sad day, I went to the game center in my community and played the Whot game, and I was able to win 2000 naira from my opponents.
Based on the saying that gamblers do not do anything good with the money they win from gambling, I decided to prove it wrong by keeping the money I won in the hope of using it to buy clothes on my way back from school on Monday.
I rushed home to keep the money so I won't be tempted to gamble with it, and I was able to defeat the temptation till Monday.!
I was happy to leave home on Monday with the money, knowing I would come home with some nice clothes. Unfortunately, on my way home that afternoon, the shop where I wanted to buy the cloth didn't open, I was disappointed and had to return home with the money, which didn't end well!.
When I got home and went out in the evening to the game centre to play with my friends as usual, I met them gambling and I feel bored for not partaking so I rushed home to pick 200 Naira out of the money which they win in no time and then the spirit of gambling entered my body, I rushed home to pick the rest of the money and in a short time, I lost it all!
I was so pained and almost cursed the cloth vendor that didn't open cos if he did, I would have a cloth instead!
