Most times People just tend to make others feel bad about themselves because those people have something they don't have. Most times caring less about what they say about you and caring more about what you like/love can help in situations like that and yes sometimes you can try to talk sense into them hopefully they change and sometimes leaving such environment just like you did could help you emotionally 👍
Yes, but sometimes we have to stand our ground. If we allow someone to crush us, we give them the power and then we are nothing more than a toy to play with.
Moving out is always harsh, but such is life, after all humans are nomads in origins, so it is easy to just move forward one step at the time :)
We evolve with transition and feeling. Moving forward is part of this transition.
