RE: Aquarium Dreams for Creative-Sunday

Source of potential drawing plagiarism

Hello.

Plagiarism is the copying & pasting of others' work without giving credit to the original author or artist.
We would appreciate it if you could avoid plagiarism of content (full or partial texts, videos, photography, art, etc.).

Thank you.

You downvoted me without even looking at or reading the post and I think that's not good. You should have visited my post properly first. I have included a link in my post from where I got the idea for this drawing. I think you need to consider this.

The link and mention are hardly visible to anyone.
I would appreciate it if you next time clearly state at the top of the post that the drawing is a line-tracing of someone else's art, with the clear link provided.
Thank you.
I will remove the downvote.

Did you get permission from the original artist to copy their work and monetise it on Hive?

Thanks for the advice, I'll add the link at the top next time. I didn't ask permission from the original artist because I didn't know where I could contact him. I took this sketch randomly from the internet and added the link to the post. Can you remove downvote of adm.

The downvote has been removed.

If you can't trace the source of the artwork, I would recommend not copying it. Unless you are sure that it is a public domain character.
I would recommend creating your own art instead.
