A forced reality

Hello everyone, I welcome you to my blog.

‎Are we supposed to suffer because of our leader's decisions, whether we knew what prompted it or not?
‎Well, this is a very interesting topic to speak on. It is a topic that sheds light to the reality we've unfortunately found ourselves in.
Many a times, we tend to argue this. We call on the Government to take responsibility for their actions, and the repercussions the people have to put up with. Especially with the rate of insecurity in the country, we say we are not supposed to suffer when the leaders have done nothing to curb the issue. But does our cries really matter? Can it change anything? Will there ever be a time when the people will stop suffering because of their leader's wrong decisions and choices. I strongly doubt that.

‎First of all, let's ask ourselves, what a country is. A country isn't just a large mass of land. It is a place inhabited by humans. No country can exist without humans, who are called the citizens. We are the country, and this is why the bad things happening in the country are targeted towards the citizens.

‎Let's take for example, if there were to be a bomb explosion in any part of the country, the first information we look out for is the number of casualties. If there are no casualties, it may not taken too seriously. And this casualties are the citizens living inside the country.

‎Also, when we look at the constant war news between countries, the people who suffer this more aren't even the leaders. It is the citizens that become homeless, wounded, starved, and dead. And many of these citizens may not have known what could have triggered these wars, but that doesn't really matter. Whether we are in support of the war or not, innocent citizens will always pay the price.

‎Is this right? Should we citizens suffer because of the wrong decisions of our leaders? Should we be made to pay a price for things we do not know about?

‎The short answer is NO. But there's nothing anyone can do about it.
‎Humans are the casualties of our leader's wrong decisions, and whether we like this or not, it cannot change.
‎Once a country is in chaos, if the citizens are not involved, then it wouldn't be deemed serious. This is the harsh reality we have to face.

‎Our stand on this doesn't matter or count. All we can hope for is a better leadership. One that is devoid of anything that would cause the citizens harm.

‎There's no country without its citizen. And what better way to harm a country, than through its citizens, who most times are innocent, and oblivious of the issues around them?
‎In the end, we are made to suffer for the bad decisions of our leaders, and nothing can change that. Being an influential celebrity can not stop an individual from suffering the outcomes of our leader's decisions.
