This topic I believe is a very controversial one, as it is one that everyone will treat from various points of view, ranging from religious standpoint to medical, and even personal experiences and all.
First off, I would say it isn't as easy/simple as it seems to be. Abortion is one of those topics that will force one to really confront life, and getting entangled between choice and responsibilities. Abortion is something some faces out of fear, some it's our of pressure and some it just revolves around certain situations/circumstances that seems to be beyond their power.
I've been around someone who has aborted before, and I can tell you it isn't an easy decision, it's messy and complicated. I knew her after she did, she was battling with the weight of ending a potential life while she was trying to protect her own life, stability and future. This is life, and we really need to understand that a lot of people walk about carrying thoughts that no one can really understand no matter what. Women especially carry and bear this physical, emotional and social weight of this decision.
The way our society judges at times is too quick and harsh. No one really pauses to ask or even consider the circumstances/pressure that could have surrounded and led to an individual to consider abortion in the first place it's definitely not an easy decision. I will like you to understand with me that I'm not in anyway glorifying or condemning abortion. I'm just here to acknowledge the hard and real truth.
This are decisions that people make on a daily, and they are never made lightly/easily. It's a choice, they can choose to and may choose not to, whatever decision they make will definitely leave a mark. And it is one that touches lives, relationships, and even the society as a whole. Some are presently facing their decisions now. And sometimes, the choice is about survival, mental health, physical well-being and all. And some who made that decision from whatever could have led to it are still facing the moral consequences of ending that which could have been.
I'm not celebrating it, I'm just saying it's the reality in our world today. And we need to understand that such a decision isn't easy, either abort or not, both carries very heavy weight. Ask someone who has aborted before and you will be surprised at how they still feel, same ask someone who has decided to not abort, you will be surprised at what they have to say too. The former might say they shouldn't have while the former may say they wished they've just aborted it. They are just humans caught between life, circumstances and responsibilities. And life at times forces us to make certain decisions that we don't really want to make. Yet, some find themselves in such a situation where they have no option but to make a decision.
This topic is one that is talking directly about life in all of it's fragilities. I also want to believe the topic wants us to think beyond, it wants us to really think, reflect and acknowledge the complexity of life, reality, responsibilities, and decision making.

Abortion is truly not an easy thing. If affects the woman both physically, socially and psychologically. It's worst when they don't have a supportive partner or when there is no one to support them.
