Different Route, Probably The Same Destination

Many people have diverse views on schools. For some people, school is a scam because of some encounters they had. They call school a scam probably because of the low key bribing of lecturers to pass student on a course or some other things.

To some people, school is not a scam, but a stepping stone to achieving their dreams. Irrespective of the negativities that may be found in the four corners of a university, they pushed through and came out successful.

Though everyone has their own different opinion on universities and schools at large, one fact remain that going to school and being educated is worth it.

University is a good and bad place. As i like to call it, it is a double edged sword. It can build an individual to greater heights. It also has the potential of destroying an individuals life in an unimaginable way.

Many things are in campus. Many personalities make up a campus. In some universities, cultist is the order of the day. If you don/t belong to a cult group, they will begin to see you as a nobody. When referring to you, they will call you 48, meaning that you are nothing. University newbies are most times, forced to join them.

I am happy for the kind of school I went to. I didn't experience cultism probably because its a nursing school, but then, I met a lot of people. To me, some of these people are good, some are bad, and some, welp, they are just in-between good and bad.
The fact they are bad in my perspective does not actually mean that they are bad people. Thats just my perspective.

Sometimes, I ask myself, what if i went to a different College of Nursing? Would there be a difference in my perception or would things remain how it is? In this post which is an entry for hive learners prompt, I would answer these questions. I would also talk a little on how the school I attended affected my life, and I would share some of the things I learned.

I don't really know how my life would have been like if I had attended another college of nursing. Who knows, I may be less serious with studies than I was. The school I attended didn't have a lot of students. As a matter of fact, my set was the first set the school had after being shut down for many years. There were no many external influences to make someone leave their studies.

If I had attended a different college of nursing, I may not have been serious with academics like I was during my school days. Also, I would not have met the good people I met in the school I attended.

Being somebody that don't really like politics, it was kind of difficult to relate with the people in my school. However, I began to learn politics and gradually began to indulge in political matters both in my school and outside my school. Its not something I really like, but then, its an interesting game that I like to play. It was my university that indirectly taught me about politics.

Thank you for reading.
