The appearance of a man gives him a seat.

Hello, everyone.

Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learner's featured post. One saying that never left my mom's mouth is "Your appearance gives you a seat and determines how you will be addressed." I remember one time when magnetic earrings were trending, my friends and I got one for ourselves, and the mistake we made was wearing it home. My mom saw us with those magnetic earrings, and we spent at least 3 hours receiving the advice of our lives. To date, that is the longest time I have ever spent receiving advice. She talked and touched on all aspects of our lives.

Your dressing always counts; people don't need to get to know you before they draw a conclusion about the type of person you are. From your dressing, people can even draw the conclusion that you are what you are not, because your dressing paints a picture without you knowing; they draw the conclusion that you are that thing. Your dressing has a very loud voice you can't hear but others can. At some point in our lives, we have come across people dressed so rough, and we had to give them their space in order to avoid trouble. Not that they are troublesome, but their dressing made us conclude they were.

Dressing really matters, not just when going for an interview; there is a dress for every occasion. So when going for an interview, you are expected to appear smart and neat; that alone proves you are sane and not out of your mind. You cannot be going for an interview and you appear with a torn jean or a party gown; that alone will make your employers draw the conclusion that you really do not need the job, as you only came to show off and not for the job. They say first impression matters, so why would any sane person not want to make the right impression at an interview by dressing smartly and as it is expected of them? Going for an interview really has nothing to do with your fashion sense; you just need to know what you need to wear and what's appropriate to wear to an event like an interview. Keep your dress sense aside.

For me, I think it is okay for firms to use dressing as a criteria for employment. People get to see your outer look even before you get to say a word or express yourself, which makes it very important that you appear presentable and responsible. You cannot appear like an irresponsible person, and you expect them to look at your dressing and paint a different picture in their head and mind. It is the picture you give that they will paint. Skills shouldn't be the only thing that counts; dressing too should be considered.

Would I like to change the system of dressing responsible for an interview?

Even if given the power, I still wouldn't change this system because when your dressing gives a different impression, you wouldn't even have the opportunity to show that skill that you possess. Your appearance gives you at least 40%, then maybe skill can do the rest.
Thanks for reading my post.

Looks and appearance beauty cannot make many companies grow. To grow a company, the experience of that company should grow. You can make a person happy by looks but you can't grow a company first so try to prioritize what makes your company grow beautiful rather than punishing anyone by dressing up and looking good then the world will change for the better. Loved your wonderful post

They say that the suitcase is the passenger, I know that the first impression makes an impact, however I have seen cases where people are hired for that first impression and do not measure their capabilities for the position to choose, usually happens with recommended people, Physical appearance matters, but more important and should be measured more severely the level of knowledge and experience we have. It is clear that when opting for a job interview we are not going to go dressed inappropriately.

Exactly.... What made your post more enjoyable was the fact that we gave the same percentage and I already published mine before coming to read your entry which means we definitely think alike😀😀😀

Dressing should never be removed for real because it doesn't take anything to be smartly dressed
