Since I discovered writing, it has been more like a portal into a new dimension—one where I get to access the vault of my thoughts and assess them. It all started with me scribbling ideas into my notepad on my devices a few years ago, nothing particularly direct—just random thoughts in a few words.Then one day, a friend introduced me to the practice of writing my thoughts down in a journal.
I got one and tried fully expressing my thoughts, and that's when the eureka moment came. I had found a new way to talk to myself. I'd like to believe everyone does that.
And it felt more exhilarating the first time I wrote down everything in my heart, and it still does when I read them days or weeks later.

However, since it was my first time journaling, collecting my thoughts categorically was not considered, so I eventually abused my journal: I began writing things that could have been on random sheets of paper or that should have been on my walls instead. And as time passed, I wrote less and less until I wrote nothing at all.
Nevertheless, I found Hive, and my writing kicked off again, and I have been loving it ever since. But there are actually certain thoughts that cannot come out here. They say if you don't want someone's opinion on your thoughts, don't share them in the first place. So I am going back to scribbling my thoughts again, and where better to do so than in a book that's appealing? That's where Elegant Shelves came in.
@sekani makes beautiful journals and owns Elegant Shelves. She was super kind enough to surprise me with this beautiful new journal of mine that you see here in this post. As you can see, she makes them out of love and genuine care.
Photography has always piqued my interest, and anything that piques my interest is likely to be something I dabble in.And for years now, since I got my Redmi Note 8 Pro (my previous phone), I have been keen about catching what my eyes observe on cameras. Since I do not have an actual camera, I just make do with my phones and process them.
She had asked for photos of this new journal of mine from my perspective, but since my now-old phone (the Note 8 Pro) had issues with its camera, the photos had to be delayed until I got a new phone. And now that I have gotten a new one, I have been on a shooting spree ...with cameras and not guns, please.
I prepared the scene, my little cocoon, for shooting, and voila! *click! * *click! * *click! *

I know that feeling when you're journaling 🥰. I started journaling about 6 years ago and the feeling never gets old. I once wrote a draft about it, I termed it better than a good time in the bathroom (I love cool baths you see 😂😂). Perhaps I'll release that one of these days. And your photography skills are superb 🔥🔥🔥, way to go!

It's all the angles for me. Photography piques my interest too. I've just been struggling hard these days for the right subject to shoot. They're colourful and amazing. The right angles gives the pictures some really different perspective to ponder on.
I can totally relate to the difficulty in finding the right subject. I just try to capture anything these days and hope for the best to come out.
Now, I'm considering taking some photography courses, since I'm loving it.

Some, giving meaning and codings for whatever designs po that they do, but for me everytime I do something po, I apply whatever I wanted and not depending on what others might say to me po as long as it is good and Godly po! You're one of the few guys I know that journals, a lot of people (especially guys... I'm not a feminist 😂) don't even know how therapeutic journaling can be.
Well, the deep stuff I know usually comes from conversations with intelligent people. That one was from a recent convo with a good friend.
I guess the stereotype on guys is what holds many back from assessing their thoughts by journaling. We mostly think it's a lady thing. If only they knew.

Pictures come out clean and clear with a good camera and I love the outcomes of these photos. They look professional and I admire them. I bought a journal some months ago but I now write anything writable into it. I don´t even write down my thoughts again but list items of things to get at the market 😂🤣🤣
