First, I'm planning on getting married and having children soon, so my kids can be old enough to replicate my care for them in my old age.

Am I sure I am reading Vickoly"s post? @nkemakonam89 it's the second time I am reading something like this, isn't it? 😃🤣

First off, I am among the twenty youths that will say I am working hard to take care of my ageing parent — father since he is the one left for me as one. So, he deserves every treatment at his old age because of his efforts on us, his children.

Though, there are children who have neglected their parents at old age, not remembering the efforts they have played in their lives while growing up. I believe every ageing parent deserves to be taken care of because at that moment, they need someone around as they aren't fit anymore to do those activities they have been doing before.

Also yes, parents also need to take care of themselves with the right nutrition and exercises because it would be unfair for the children to start taking care of them on sickbed because of their negligence towards their lives when they had the time to do so, unless they are sick naturally without tracing the cause to be their carelessness. Aside this, parents are to be cared for at such old age.

Indeed we can't hide the need to cater for our parents, because we ourselves can tell that their impact in raising us is second to none, cause they do that in the best of their capacity.

Like you buttress on my point on the need for we to cater for ourselves, so we'll lived a healthier life, and not be a burden to our children when we're old, it's highly important because we're also enjoying our old age unlike those who don't when they ought to do the needful.
