What is that thing that you know you can never miss during your time in school????
Well well well, we all have different ways we spend our leisure time back then but today i am going to remind you guys of how sweet and beautiful mine was even if it had a bit of silliness lolz...
Ever since i was a kid i have always had this special talents of adapting to sportsmen names because i was a huge lover of sports, my choice of sport was RELAY RACE, yeah sorry to disappoint you by not choosing football lolz, even if at a very young age i loved football, i never really got attached to it like its mine...
I only loved football because of my father but while growing up, i ventured into running and at first i wasn't noticed but when grace spoke for me, i became my school first set of representative in any competition within or outside the school including inter house sports...
One special gift i have as a child is the ability to remember names, this special gift really helped me in school and to be precise it helped in topics like basketball, football, volleyball, handball, cricket, swimming, table tennis and lawn tennis, high jump, javelin, shotput and many more sports....
All this topics were present in all my school journey, it was found in PHYSICAL HEALTH EDUCATION, we abbreviated it to P.H.E in school back then and to be honest it was my best subject back in school and most high scoring subject, i have never failed physical health education as a subject...
I came across names of many sportsmen in p.h.e and luckily for me because of how funny some names stood i came to grasp them easily with the joke i made with it, the likes of rapheal nadal, novak djokovic, venus sisters and others and in terms of football i was chanced to know only the famous ones but one thing was that it was fun learning physical health education...
My main focus in school was to become the best runner and i achieved that before graduating, my brother majored in karate and running and he was one of the best among the best..
I am going to share my first relay race experience, please don't laugh guys lolz, i was never a relay race runner but i was n ordinary runner, i run for both my school and other schools as a machinery but later we got an invitation from another school for annual inter house sports...
As usual i was selected to go represent my school including 3 other guys in relay race, i was asked if i knew the meaning of relay race and how it is done, i said yes and lo and behold we had a quick practice and the four of us were stationed far apart because my school field was very wide...
I was given a baton and then the whistle was blown, i took off and started running, i passed the second runner, third runner and fourth runner, only to finish the whole race and i heard laughter from my teacher and the three other guys lolz...
At first it was annoying because i realized non of them chased me and same goes on until i finished with the baton, i didn't know what i was supposed do with it lolz, it was at this moment i realized they were stretching out their hand to take over but i was hell bent on winning that i ran the whole race lolx....
My teacher came to me laughing like he saw a clown all because of that moment and he explained to me lolz and taught me how to participate in relay race, he explained the rules and regulations to me and that i have to pass the baton to the next runner when i get to them...
He told me the first and last runner will determine if we will win or loose, i haken to his voice and started training, i prepared for it like it was a do or die race...
I chose to be the last runner, that is the 4th runner, i chose that spot for a reason and it was my first relay race, so i was determined to win...
Lo and behold the day came and we prepared to go to the field and we the runners took position and then the whistle was blown, we had our two best man stationed as first and fourth while other schools arranged them in the middle, second and third to be precise..
The race began and our first man ran at his fastest speed only for half of the competitors to arrive at the same time, the second runner started only to see about 4 other schools taking shortcuts to the other side😂😂😂, immediately they were disqualified and then it was remaining 5 schools including mine, our third runner was suprisingly fast that day that he got to be in no time and immediately the baton touched my hand i ran like a crazy dog and before i knew it the grass slipped me and i was overtaken, i didn't give up and i charged up fast, i was coming second until the first runner dropped his baton, seeing him picking it, i drove past it him in a flash that before he charged back up, i was looking at the finish line and then it was a hard one but i still won the FIRST POSITION FOR MY SCHOOL...
In summary, i finished first and damn all the girls that ran for our school came at me that i ended up falling lolz, they fell on me swears because they all believed we couldn't win after i slipped, i was on the floor when my co runners came to greet me and we shook hands...
In conclusion, the guys took the first place in 800m relay race while our girls took the second place in the 400m relay race, furthermore, the disqualified schools were awarded something but they didn't win..
We all went home singing joyfully and we discussed the schools that got disqualified and lastly our victory and after then i started majoring in RELAY RACE and it became my favorite.....

But you are funny oo 🤣 They asked you if you know what relay race meant. Instead of saying you don´t know maybe, they might explain to you but you went to disgrace yourself on the field. Lol
But it was fun in the end because you guys won.

Oh wow, this is a really beautiful experience for me, even if at first you wanted to prove I too know, lolz. I'm very weak at remembering people's names and I think I will have to work on myself to be able to do that.
