Currently, there are many ways to get crypto money (tokens) although not for free but also not in a difficult way, namely by becoming a content creator on this blockchain-based social media. Hive.blog is a social media created for new economic places/fields, especially for millennials who like the world of technology. Hive.blog appreciates every content by giving 3 digital tokens namely HIVE, Hive Dollars and Hive Power (HP) to each contributing user. Learning about tokens and how to power up is an important part for every hivers so that they know about the economic system, investing and buying and selling tokens so that they will continue to strive to rise and develop, to become strong Hivers and able to stand on their own feet.
Here are the completion of my 5 tasks regarding Hive and how to Activate it.
What do I know about Hive, Hive Power and HBD
Hive is the cryptocurrency token or basic liquid digital currency that has made hive.blog so valuable, because Hive. the blog will be of no value without the HIVE token in it. Hive tokens can be converted to Hive Power, can be traded into Hive Dollars and can be sent/transferred to other accounts. Hive is a type of token that is actually almost similar to the digital currency bitcoin on the bitcoin blockchain.
Hive Power(HP) is an asset "size" value that symbolizes the strength of an account and greatly influences the positive vote on a content (post or comment). The greater the HP owned by an account, the greater the influence of the account on the Hive.blog platform. Accounts that have large HP not only affect the upvote value you give to a content but also affect the curation value (reward for HP owners).
Hive Power is assets that are locked and cannot be sold/traded except through the stages/processes of converting them to HIVE in a period of approximately 13 weeks.
HBD, also known as Hive Backed Dollar, is a token unit of appreciation received by account holders for their contributions to the Hive.blog platform. say, when an account vote/vote positively on your posts/comments, then you will get a number of rewards.
Basically HBD is a Hive in the form of currency (the value of digital currency tokens) that is maintained to remain stable because it is pegged at $1 USD. HBD is a token that you can trade after you convert to HIVE.
Powering Up Hive is very Important
Power Up is an effort for account growth as well as increasing the influence of an account on the Hive.blog platform. Power UP is also important to keep the Hive ecosystem sustainable and stable and then will reap better and sustainable results. Power Up is the addition of HP that affects on the Upvote (Curation reward) income on a content.
How to get Hive Power (HP)
In our opinion, Power Up is a profitable long-term investment and can be done by: converting HBD to HIVE or buying HIVE through an exchange (crypto market)
Process of converting HBD to Hive from Internal Market.
The steps are:
- Go to Hive wallet account
- Select Market and fill in the number of HBD you want to convert in the "Total" box.
- Click Menu "Buy Hive"
- Click OK on the "Confirm Limit Order Create" menu display
- Fill in the Active Key before clicking OK

I'm Powering up Hive To Hive Power
The process of powering up Hive to Hive Power is:
- I went to the Hive wallet account. blog
- I select Menu Hive and then I select Power Up
- After the dialog box "
Convert to HIVE POWER" opens, I click the number of Hive in the balance menu, then select OK. (You can set the number of Hive you want to Power Up in the balance menu). Incidentally I only have 0.001 Hive there. - Then the dialog box "confirm transfer to vesting" appears and select OK.
- After the "sign to complete transfer" dialog box appears, you are expected to fill in the Active Key for the last process of converting Hive to Hive power. Next select Sign.

That's all my short review about to Completion of TASK 2: Learning the Hive Token and How to Activate It. I realize that my contribution about Learning the Hive Token and How to Activate It. Still very shallow and far from perfect. Because the 5 tasks given by Mr. @prayzz have a very broad explanation and we don't know in detail yet.

Hello @ridwant Hive power is known as HP not SP. Also, you can’t convert HBD to steem, you can only convert your HBD to hive.
