Yoga is a collective set of physical, mental and spiritual practices that originated in India. There are an exceeding number of yoga practices, the most well known Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga.
It is a practice because it improves flexibility, strengthens and develops body control.

Countless studies show us that physical activity is very important for the body. Exercise is physical activity and body mo that improves physical fitness. There are a variety of benefits associated with regular exercise, including reducing the risk of conditions such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes and cancer.

Exercise also increases oxygen supply and blood to the muscles and organs of the body. It lowers bad cholesterol level and increases good cholesterol Exercising is also a great mood booster, as research studies have shown that it reduces depression and anxiety. Incorporating lifestyle changes, such as exercise, can go a long way towards improving health and increasing lifespan.

Benefits of Yoga

Weight Loss: It's great for losing weight because you burn a lot of calories by stretching and toning your body. You lose

weight and have fun doing it. What's better than that? Yoga improves your body by toning, toning and strengthening. It also makes you more flexible at the same time.

Improved Mental Health: Yoga helps mental health improve as studies show that regular yoga practice increases GABA levels in the brain and increases the Mood improvement and anxiety. more than some other exercises like walking.
Increased relaxation is very beneficial for stress reduction.

Reducing Asthma Symptoms: It has been shown to reduce asthma symptoms in asthmatics.

Improves Heart condition: Yoga improves heart condition. It can improve high blood pressure, alleviate symptoms of heart failure, improve cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and reduce cardiovascular risk factors.

Treating Back Pain: Yoga is also ideal for treating chronic hypotensive back pain.

In a clinical study, the "Yoga for a Healthy Lower Back" program was found to be 30% more beneficial than usual care. The yoga participants' pain decreased by a third, while the standard treatment group had only a 50% increase. Yoga participants also saw an 80% reduction in pain medication use.

Additional Cancer Treatment: Yoga is used as a complementary intervention in cancer patients to manage depression, anxiety, insomnia, and pain and relieve fatigue.

Personally I think there is more to Yoga that meets the eyes, for me there is a whole world of possibilities.
