Fate not school || the major life determinant

in Hive Learners2 days ago

Greetings!

This life is all about fate as nobody can single handedly decide where to go or not, which college to go or not and a whole lot of other aspects of life as our steps in life are only orchestrated by the supreme being, God.

There's was a time in my life that i have thought deeply about my life and the school I went to, but at the end, I came to the conclusion that, everything I have passed through including every of the school I had went to was not done by me actually but by a supreme force which is directing my steps.

However, it's not as if I didn't have my own personal say in choosing what I wanted to do or the school I wanted to go, but finding myself in such a school I later went to was not by my power.

The reason for the above was that, when I wanted to select my choice of school, I was able to select more than one school. In fact, I chose up to 6 schools as we used to do in our days of writing jamb. In those days we used to choose two universities, two polytechnics and two colleges of education.

And after everything, I was being admitted into one of those schools I picked as my choice of school which to me was not coincidental but as orchestrated by a supreme being as I would have also been admitted into other schools if not the one I later attended.

So, in response to the topic of the prompt, while basing my points around my last statement in the last paragraph, i would say, nothing special would have happened even if it's another school and this is because all humans are the same everywhere.

Although, we have some richer than others and some even beneficial than others, but one thing is that all these criteria are everywhere and to say the fact, these criteria are the same I found in the place I went to and these criteria are those things that shaped my life till today and it wouldn't have been different else where as we all have the same set of people everywhere, both the good and bad, the rich and poor, the kind and the wicked and the beneficial ones and those that are not.

So, my choice of school had not in anyway affected my life, if there's anything that had affected me, that thing should be with my way of handling things in my own way.

Also, my relationship with all those that I have met in life, most especially in my school days is what I can say have determined how far I have come in life and mind us, meeting them is not by my own volition but by the act of God.

For instance, my wife and I met each other in my final year in school and how we met was not pre planned by any of us, but an act of God. So, even if I didn't attend that school, wouldn't I get married? The answer is that I will still get married, maybe not to her but to another person.

In conclusion, the college or the university I attended didn't really have a say in who I have become now, but the act of God and my relationship with those I came across in life has been the major determinant in who I have become in life.
