The digital age has been with us for a long time and we know how frightening its evolution is, with more and more things being able to be done through cell phone applications or websites in browsers, technology and the future are increasingly intertwined and that means that we are increasingly digital in everything. So, what is the issue of security and our data that is on the Internet or stored in large company databases?
It goes without saying that in the midst of these large companies, there is also the government of your country, increasingly keeping an eye on our data and what we are doing, especially now with Cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin, I love to give this example, because here in Brazil the witch hunt on people who have digital assets, started with everything in 2024. Anyway, they want our data, so they know what we are doing and can apply taxes, charges, sanctions or anything else they want. Government is government and their love for us is only in their television advertisements.
I personally don't like having my data available out there, we know that browsing the internet is not always as safe or anonymous as we imagine, but, for me, there's not much I can do. As a user since the time of the first major Social Network Orkut, I'm sure that my data is in several databases spread across the globe and that even makes me think that some people try to maintain anonymity here at Hive, I think that doesn't even make sense, after all, we already have so much information left on Google, such as Facebook, Instagram, Google+ and its countless applications cell phone, who maintain anonymity on Blockchain, I don't even know if it's really worth trying to hide here.
UnsplashI think this, because at some point, sooner or later, we will take our Hive token and turn it into money to use in reality, right? And we know that theoretically the most secure means will want your data (a good Know Your Customer (KYC) from Binance, for example), so for me this anonymity is all a big illusion, our data is already in the cloud, this is a fact whether you like it or not and the government will find a way to find you, they are even using Artificial Intelligence for this, so on this side having our data on the internet is a pain, they can find us anyway.
Looking at what Web 3.0 can offer, we have a good example of transparency in everything and with this I have already shared it several times here speaking that for me everything should be like this, transparent, after all we know everything that happens, transfers, posts, comments, everything can be seen here and that's cool in this regard, although here we don't need to provide an identity number or anything like that , eventually they will reach us or else we will just leave the resources always trapped here in the hive. That's at least what I imagine, know and have experienced so far.
My most sincere opinion is that our data should be private in every possible place, after all, our information is something that I see as our intimacy, so you don't want anyone to see you naked or a nude of you to leak skin internet, right? I think that our information is like this, our intimate and should be kept under lock and key, but, as an old user and as there was no such concern with the information, today I see it as something that is already gone, they are already in the cloud and can be leaked at any time.
UnsplashAs many know, data leakage is terrible, as scammers and people with bad intentions can use this data to rob us or carry out scams, so security over our data must be as high as possible and whether it is large companies or the government, must do everything to protect this information, after all, we cannot protect it like this, in my opinion, there is no 100% safe way to protect our data.

Nem precisa dizer que no meio destas grandes empresas, também existe o governo de seu país, cada vez mais de olho em nossos dados e no que estamos fazendo, principalmente agora com Criptomoedas e Bitcoin, eu amo dar esse exemplo, pois aqui no Brasil a caça as bruxas em cima das pessoas que possuem ativos digitais, começou com tudo em 2024. Enfim, eles querem nossos dados, pois assim, sabem o que estamos fazendo e podem aplicar impostos, cobranças, sanções ou qualquer outra coisa que eles querem. Governo é governo e o amor deles por nós fica apenas em suas propagandas de televisão.
Eu particularmente não gosto de ter meus dados disponíveis por aí, sabemos que a navegação realizada na internet nem sempre é tão segura ou anônima como imaginamos, mas, para mim, não tem muito o que fazer. Como usuário desde a época da primeira grande Rede Social Orkut, tenho certeza que meus dados estão em várias bases de dados espalhadas pelo globo e isso até mesmo me faz pensar que algumas pessoas tentam manter o anonimato aqui na Hive, eu acho que isso nem faz sentido, afinal, temos tantas informações já deixadas no Google, como Facebook, Instagram, Google+ e seus inúmeros aplicativos de celular, que manter anonimato na Blockchain, nem sei se realmente vale a pena tentar se esconder aqui.

Olhando para o que a Web 3.0 pode oferecer, temos um bom exemplo de transparência em tudo e com isso já até compartilhei várias vezes aqui falando que por mim tudo deveria ser assim, transparente, afinal sabemos de tudo o que acontece, transferências, postagens, comentários, tudo pode ser visto aqui e isso é legal nesse quesito, apesar de que aqui não precisamos informar um número de identidade ou algo assim, uma hora eles chegam em nós ou então apenas deixaremos os recursos sempre presos aqui na hive. Isso pelo menos é o que imagino, sei e experienciei até o momento.
Minha mais sincera opinião é que os nossos dados deveriam ser, sim, privados em todos os lugares possíveis, afinal, nossas informações são algo que vejo como a nossa intimidade, então você não quer que ninguém veja você pelado ou que um nude seu vaze pele internet, não é? Penso que nossas informações sejam assim, o nosso íntimo e deve ser guardado a sete chaves, mas, como um usuário antigo e como não havia essa preocupação com as informações, hoje vejo como algo que já era, eles já estão na nuvem e podem ser vazados a qualquer momento.
UnsplashComo muitos sabem, o vazamento de dados é péssimo, pois golpistas e pessoas mal intencionadas podem utilizar destes dados para nos roubar ou aplicar golpes, então, a segurança em cima de nossos dados deve ser a mais alta possível e seja as grandes empresas ou o governo, devem fazer de tudo para proteger essa informação, afinal, não temos como proteger elas assim, no meu ver, não existe uma forma 100% segura de proteger nossos dados.

Unfortunately we have become this, because of the bad government we have on the left, they just tax everything, create taxes for everything and in this year 2024 they are doing everything to catch people who have crypto to earn something on top, it's always like this .

Proper security measures should be taken when it come to data of people. Have seen people almost committing suicide when what is supposed to be private to them is spread all over the internet.
This is a very interesting point, after all, these data are confidential, they are important to us like a piece of our body, if they are leaked they can cause countless problems and the worst of them is precisely this, which can even take a person's life. It's a delicate situation.
I agree with you, we can't achieve 100% safety with our data. We can only try to minimise the chances of our data falling into wrong hands.
That's the point I was thinking, it's practically impossible to protect our data, because a while ago, we didn't even worry about it, so we've already entered our data everywhere on the internet.

I don't think there's much that can be done, our data has been in the cloud for a long time and as a result there isn't really a solution to remove it, it's complicated, I think we can only hope that the worst doesn't happen.
