When we talk about water, which is present in our lives and has unquestionable importance, we are sure that this is one of our most precious assets and that we must protect it at all costs. It maintains the maintenance of life on our planet and obviously if we think of something like “without water” then it will also be “without life”, regardless of whether we are talking about the “kingdom” human, animal or plant, we all need water to live!

This leads to the thought that we must have ways to treat, clean and provide quality water for people and it is surprisingly negative to think that there are people who don't even have that, a source of clean water that they can enjoy for the most diverse things: drinking, take a shower, wash your clothes and dishes, brush your teeth, etc. We know that in some countries people need to travel enormous distances just to fill a bucket with water and thus access water in this laborious and rudimentary way.

Here in Goiânia, the city where I have lived since birth, doing some quick research, I realize that we are very lucky, as the water supply here has always been well done and carried out with great care. Apart from periods of intense drought that hit Brazil from time to time or when some maintenance needs to be carried out, we have a continuous supply of quality drinking water, and it is rare at times for water to come out of our taps with any color or odor outside. from normal. Of course, this applies to my life and my memories and experiences. Perhaps some sectors of the city, which are newer, may still be undergoing a process of improving their hydraulic system.

One thing I always teach my children is how we shouldn't waste water, due to its such importance for all of us and I want to pass this on to them, after all, water is life and we have to respect it. I believe that with education and many activities related to it, we can create awareness of its importance for us and future generations, which is why we need to learn to save and not take actions and attitudes that waste so much of our precious water.

In my house, I often drink water directly from the tap, even though my wife often says it's risky or something like that, I trust that the maintenance carried out in the city in relation to this is always taken seriously, of course if it filters the water we will be reinforcing its cleaning. Speaking of filters, we have one (not the old clay ones), but one of those electric ones, called an “electric water purifier”, we press a button and the water comes out clean. Regarding this purifier, it is also necessary to maintain it, changing the filter from time to time.

So, I believe that for our future and that of our descendants, we must take care of everything today, the quality of water by not throwing garbage in a river or springs, for example, demanding measures and attitudes from our governments that really protect today's water. for tomorrow. Another point that I believe we should try to seek is to somehow participate and demand that investments be made in technology so that new means of obtaining drinking water are possible, such as, for example, converting salt water into drinkable water or creating new filters. more powerful, that clean water from polluted springs, these are ideas and examples that I imagine could be taken forward, seeking an evolution in the availability of drinking water.

The challenges are enormous, but if people become aware and manage to promote this change in attitudes and way of thinking in relation to water, we will certainly be able to somehow guarantee the supply for everyone on the planet, in addition to helping and bringing water to the more remote and suffering places in this matter.

Quando falamos sobre a água, que está presente nas nossas vidas e têm uma importância inquestionável, temos a certeza de que este é um dos nossos bens mais preciosos que temos e que devemos a todo custo protegê-la. Ela mantém a manutenção da vida em nosso planeta e obviamente se pensarmos em algo como “sem água” então também será “sem vida”, independente se estamos falando do “reino” humano, animal ou vegetal, todos precisamos de água para viver!

Isso remete ao pensamento de que devemos ter meios de tratar, limpar e fornecer água de qualidade para as pessoas e é surpreendentemente negativo pensar que tem pessoas que nem isso possuem, uma fonte de água limpa e que possam desfrutar para as mais diversas coisas: beber, tomar banho, lavar suas roupas e vasilhas, escovar os dentes, etc. Sabemos que em alguns países as pessoas precisam percorrer enormes distâncias apenas para encher um balde de água e assim ter acesso à água desta forma trabalhosa e rudimentar.

Aqui em Goiânia, a cidade onde moro desde o meu nascimento, fazendo uma pesquisa rápida, percebo que temos muita sorte, pois o fornecimento de água aqui sempre foi bem feito e realizado com muito cuidado. Tirando as épocas de seca intensa que atinge o Brasil uma vez ou outra ou quando é preciso realizar alguma manutenção, temos o fornecimento de água potável continuo e com qualidade, sendo raro em alguns momentos a água sair de nossas torneiras com alguma cor ou odor fora do normal. Claro que isso se aplica a minha vida e as minhas lembranças e vivência. Talvez alguns setores da cidade, que sejam mais novos, possam ainda estar passando por um processo de melhoria em seu sistema hidráulico.

Uma coisa que sempre ensino para meus filhos é sobre como não devemos desperdiçar a água, devido a sua tamanha importância para todos nós e quero passar isso para eles, afinal, água é vida e temos que respeitá-la. Acredito que com educação e muitas atividades relacionadas a ela, podemos criar essa conscientização de sua importância para nós e as futuras gerações, por isso, precisamos aprender a economizar e não tomar ações e atitudes que desperdicem tanto a nossa preciosa água.

Na minha casa, muitas vezes tomo a água diretamente da torneira, mesmo que a minha esposa muitas vezes fale que é arriscado ou algo assim, eu confio que a manutenção feita na cidade em relação a isso é sempre levada a sério, claro que se filtrar a água estaremos reforçando a sua limpeza. Em falar em filtro, temos um (não aqueles antigos de barro), mas sim um daqueles elétricos, chamados de “purificador de água elétrico”, apertamos um botão e assim a água sai limpinha. Em relação a esse purificador, é preciso sempre fazer a manutenção dele também, realizando a troca do filtro de tempos em tempos.

Então, acredito que para o nosso futuro e de nossos descendentes, devemos cuidar de tudo hoje, da qualidade da água ao não jogar lixo em um rio ou nascentes, por exemplo, cobrar de nossos governantes medidas e atitudes que realmente protejam a água de hoje para o amanhã. Outro ponto que acredito que devemos tentar buscar é de alguma forma participar e cobrar que seja feito investimentos na tecnologia para que novos meios de obter água potável, seja possível, como, por exemplo, converter água salgada em potável ou então que sejam criados novos filtros mais poderosos, que limpem a água de nascentes poluídas, isso são ideias e exemplos que imagino que poderiam ser levadas adiante, buscando uma evolução na disponibilização de água potável.

Os desafios são enormes, mas se as pessoas se conscientizarem e conseguirem promover essa mudança de atitudes e forma de pensar em relação à água, com certeza poderemos de alguma forma garantir o abastecimento para todos no planeta, além de ajudar e levar a água para os lugares mais remotos e sofridos nesta questão.
