During my recent trip, I left quite embarrassed when I was asked to eat an omlette with fork and knife. Honestly. I never had to eat an omlette in such a way. But this time I am sitting in a well reputed social area, and to make it look decent, I have to follow the table behavior. Eating with fork and knife is not in our culture and neither most of the Indians were accustomed too it. These were the eating etiquette which were introduced to us by Britishers. So no one inherited such behaviors. They have learned it over the time and situation. In my case, with my little experience during my corporate days, I manage to finish the omlette successfully with the cutlery set.

Behaviors are the way in which an animal or person behaves in response to a particular situation. There might be varying form of behaviors depends upon different situation. Most of the behaviors are a result of learned experiences and environmental influences. Behavior encompasses a vast spectrum of activity, from simple reflexes to complex, conscious choices. Behaviors of a person are influenced by many factors. Genetics, environment, social interactions, and physiological processes all play a significant role in shaping behavior. In my case of eating omlette, though I am not habitual, I learned it earlier to keep up the dining decorum. Behaviors are a combination of both inherited and learned factors. However majority of the behaviors were acquired over course of the life. Learned behaviors are acquired through experience and environmental influences. There are many examples of learned behaviors like, learning to tie your shoes, solve a math problem, or ride a bicycle etc.
Genetic and environment interplay
A kids grown up to good adults are a result of a complex interplay between genetics and environment, not just one or the other. While genetics can influence personality and predispositions that make certain behaviors easier or harder, learned behavior through parenting, environment, and social interactions plays a larger role in shaping habits. For example ;
a child may inherit a genetic predisposition that makes them more prone to anxiety, but they will learn specific coping mechanisms, or good habits, from their environment and role models to manage that anxiety.
It should be noted that parenting plays an important role in the upbringing of a child. Children learn by observing and imitating their parents and other adults. Parents who model good habits are more likely to raise children who also have those habits. Good habits are frequently taught through direct instruction and practice, such as being taught to brush teeth or do homework at a certain time.
Inherited vs Acquired
I have seen many examples how a kids turned out to be different from their parents behaviors. There was a guy whose father was a retired teacher. A teacher is responsible for shaping kids future through guidance and direction. A person who taught good lessons to students in school, his own kids turned out be thief and thugs. Their kids were cheating people and never following the path of truth. They lie, cheat and always try to get benefitted from the loss of other. Noone expected to this kind of behaviors from a teacher son. But the kids social interactions since childhood days influence him to a larger extent. He mastered all the bad habits and now living life the way he wanted to be. He never listen longish father and always argue to prove his worth.
Some of the key factors that may influence a child behaviors includes
Inherited traits can influence physical characteristics, intelligence
The quality of parenting, parental love and affection, emotional support
Parental conflict or abuse can have detrimental long-term effects.
The social circles a child keeps, from family and friends to school, can influence their behavior, values, and confidence
Adverse experiences, such as neglect or trauma in early childhood, can impair development.
This is the reason that parenting is considered to be important for child growth. The way we mold and shape the childhood, according the child will grow into.
In good faith - Peace!!

I really enjoyed your work sir. I love how you started with the omelette story, how you had to learn something new even though it is absolutely foreign to you and still linked it up to the topic of grooming kids. Honestly there is no clear straight path to how a child will grow up to be even from how the parents are with them. But I believe in the end parents should just give it their all and hope the kids make the right choices with their guidance.
Thank you
