Headaches, muscle tension, fatigue, an upset stomach, or sleep problems are some of the sign of stressing. Stress is part of our life and to avoid being into continuous form of stress, people often try to break the shackles through different mode. It may be travelling, or any form of entertainment. Recently, I opted for a trip to a new places. My main motive was to get rid of the stress, I have been into since last year or so. Life is a roller coaster ride and any unpleasant event may end up putting up in stressful situation. In my perspective, solo travelling is a good way to manage stress. But sometimes, the wheel of fortune may turn otherwise and end up adding another level of stress into our life. I have opted for a solo trip, but unable to find any accommodation during the trip added lot of chaos in my trip.

Stress is our body's reaction to physical or mental pressure, such as a difficult situation, a challenge, or a demand. During my trip I booked a decent room for an overnight stay. But later I found out the water supply as well as the electricity ran out giving me unwanted headache. It was the fault of the hotelier who unable to fulfill the customer demand, but putting me under lot of pressure pretty late at night. When we encounter stress, our body releases hormones that trigger a fight or flight response to help us react, which can increase our heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing. Likewise i found myself shouting middle of the night at the hotelier for improper facilities at the hotel. So while I was away from home to get some relief from stress full, I found myself being into a new state of stress.
Even the strongest need a break.
Stress is a normal part of our life because it is the body's natural reaction to change, challenges, and perceived threats, helping us stay alert and motivated. Our thoughts and environment influence our body's stress response, and conversely, our physical health can affect our mental and emotional state. It is not possible to avoid stress completely, as it is a natural human reaction to new challenges and situations. However, when stress becomes chronic and overwhelming, it can be harmful to our mental and physical health. The only way to avoid being such state is to follow some mindful exercise. In my case, When noticed getting angry on the hotel staff. I took a deep breath and opted for a glass of water. This is my usual way to control the stress. There are certain things and situation which are unavoidable in life. And getting unwanted stress because of such situation is not a mindful things to do. Replacing negative self-talk with a more positive and productive outlook can help us cope better with stressful situations.
Finding peace in the stillness
As a human we can not eliminate all sources of stress, we can manage how we react to them and reduce our overall stress levels by building resilience and adopting healthy coping strategies. Practices such as meditation, yoga, deep breathing exercises, and progressive muscle relaxation can activate your body's relaxation response and calm your mind. Sometimes physical activity like Just 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise, such as a brisk walk, on most days can make a big difference. In my opinion, rather than trying to completely avoid the level of stress, it is more sensible to deal with the stress through different meaningful ways. The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another. Do remember, It is not stress that kills us, it is our reaction to it.
In good faith - Peace!!
