I firmly believe that "what is not done today may never be done". This is an inspirational phrases taught to me in childhood. It teaches us the importance of 'today' and the need to do things immediately instead of postponing them. This means that opportunities change with time and the opportunity that is there today will not be available tomorrow, hence we should leave laziness and live and work in the present. Instead of hoping for 'if not today, then tomorrow', 'today' is the right time and what is left today may never be completed should be a person attitude. The crux of the sentence is that we should complete our goals and responsibilities today itself.

As the year comes to an end, many people would be reflecting back to the year and accessing their goals and achievement and all the missed opportunities. I am not different and was accessing all the progress. I achieved some and lose on many. Being g a human, it is not easy to get everything in a go. At the beginning of 2025 I wanted to put a check on my tea intake and I managed to control it to a greater extent. At the same time, I wanted to achieve certain achievement on Hive but again it was not accomplished. The situation is same at the personal lever, where I manage to achieve some and left out on many.
As few days are left for this years, whatever left out will never be going to be accomplished. This is why I chose to share the inspirational phrases right at beginning of the blog. In my opinion, we should not regret missed chances because dwelling on them steals present joy. At the same time learning from them builds wisdom, opens doors for new opportunities, and fosters resilience, reminding us that life reroutes, new chances arise, and focusing on today's actions prevents future regret. Every experience, even failures, shapes us, and life's path often recalculates, guiding us forward despite detours. All the missed chances or goals that were left out in 2025 has given us some kind of learning. The missed opportunity and goals of the years taught me what matters most. It is never too late to start again or pursue our goals. We have another year in line that may brings and open new avenues and opportunity. As a human being we should focus on it rather than regretting with the past.
Focusing on our destination i.e. where we want to go matters most, as it helps us navigate obstacles, rather than just worrying about immediate problems. Ultimately, the things which were missed out will be achieved whenever the time will come. As everything is destined for the right moment and occurrence.
In good faith - Peace!!

I completely agree with what you've said about lessons to reflect on and apply in our daily lives.
Hugs!
I don't like to set resolutions like that. If I am going to make changes I like to make them right away so they can become habits. I think too many people give themselves a free pass to fail when they try to make resolutions.
