THE IRRESISTIBLE INGREDIENT FOR SUCCESS

in Hive Learnerslast year

It's common to hear that the most important requirement for success in any career is having natural talent. But practically every prominent instance of a major accomplishment takes some level of effort.

@olujay, @starstrings01, and @monioluwa - I welcomed @t-gold (and recommended his intro for an OCD upvote) on September 24th largely because he was onboarded by you, so I felt confident he would understand how Hive works.

Sadly, I was wrong.

I see four of his recent posts have been tagged as plagiarize/spun -

https://peakd.com/hive-153850/@t-gold/fashion-as-a-form-of-self-expression
https://peakd.com/hive-153850/@t-gold/that-one-customer

Now I will be extra cautious when deciding whether or not to recommend anyone you onboard.

And @t-gold, I think you can understand why I'm downvoting all of your current posts. Stealing content from other people is entirely unacceptable, as I mentioned in my first comment to you.

Apologies are not the way to absolve ourselves of letting this happen right under our noses, although we sincerely offer them. We take responsibility for this erroneous act by the newbie we onboarded and vouched for.

We understand that our recommendations will now be questionable. We take it as a call to restructure and attend to our loopholes.

And for the newbie in question, the necessary course of action will be taken to curb this abuse and keep Hive safe in our little way.

Thank you, @traciyork.

I am as much surprised with these reply. I believe t-gold knows what plagiarism is and it’s consequences. This is why I am surprised. I would go over these shared articles myself. Thank you for sharing.. I apologize for this happening.

Hmmm… to be successful in life, talents is not enough. It goes way beyond having talents but the willingness for growth through handwork and persistence.

Bro this guitar thing needs time to learn and so as every other skill existing. Without sacrificing my time to learn, I cannot grow.

I so much agree with you bro.
Most persons get so confident in there skill that they don't see a need to work hard to keep the skill..

Indeed success comes from having a skill(because I know getting a skill is still effort) and then working hard to improve or keep been efficient in your skill.
Thank you for the great piece😊!

Your right on this 😃
Hardwork please!

I love your stAtement about how a man who works hard will succeed more than a man with talent if he didn’t work as hard as the other one… I think that is the case of Ronaldo and Messi… Messi is a talented football and he played and control the ball without effort, it is just as if the ball sticks in his leg when he is with it but there is Ronaldo with all his hard work was able to perform wonders with the ball

Yea it is all about dedication and fighting spirit, never to give up no matter the obstacles on the way ….

True facts a lot of talented people don't put enough effort to be successful in what ever day engage in and tend to be lazy

When I see some people relaxing in their comfort zone due to one talent they are being blessed with, I smile because if one fail to stretch himself by working hard...then you will be limited...

I agree with your points here and I am determined to succeed, so hardwork all the way.👌👍

You're welcome boss

Talents and hardworking works together and for a person talent to come to light he or she must be ready to put the required effort by being hardworking and making use of his talent .

When they are practicing, they do so diligently.

It is one thing to even be working hard to be perfect and it´s another thing to do it with happiness and diligence. You can´t achieve the best even if you work hard and you aren´t showing interest and be happy with what you are doing. Talent and hard work are both together and would help one become great in such skill.

Talent requires hard work in order to shine brightly and remain vibrant. In other words, you need to put in a lot of work if you want to be relevant in whatever area you're in!

I love this, talent without hard work is a waste. Ones relevancy is not sure, when you add determination, perseverance with hard work to ones talent, success is guaranteed. Thanks for sharing this.
