The year of 2025 is coming to a close because we're already in the last month of the year, which is December, and as I reflect on how the year has gone, I can't help but say it has been a rollercoaster ride, but filled with more pleasant things than the other way round. I'm pleased with the way the year went, especially how it's about to end, and I'm here to say glory to my creator for the numerous blessings this far that have made the year a wonderful one. And so for that reason in his article I'll be talking extensively on how the year went and much more.
The year actually started on a good note because I'm actually thankful to God for how it started, from the place of initiating a change that began the previous year and materialized into something much more amazing earlier this January. By February something even more exciting plays out and I was further filled with Joy, because that was my first step towards actualising the dream of owning my own house, cause by February if this year I was able to fulfil a step in that regard by purchasing a land, and that land, although not yet worked upon has given me hope that dream will come to fulfilment sooner than later.
Some time after that, things fell apart, because I fell ill, and that illness was so serious that I literally spent more than my monthly wages to treat myself and get medication on a monthly basis. It was a difficult phrase that got me really worried and sad at the same time, not forgetting how it almost made me lose the will to live. But then thank God, here I am after it all, although it's still there, but I'm grateful it has subsided, even though now I have sore throat and the likes almost every two weeks, I'm hope for the best and that this would all be put behind me.
There have been other great things that happened during the course of this year that I'll forever be grateful for; the various accomplishments, the victories, and several other things I've been able to get through have been just amazing, and I'm grateful to God for making this year one of the best years of my life, and to be frank, it's definitely going to be a year that'll live rent-free in my memory for the rest of my life, because each step I take seems to be towards the right direction. I know it's not my power but the grace and wisdom of God guiding me through each day to make the right decision.
The just-concluded week is more like a crown to all the blessings this year has given me, because just last week I embarked on a promotion exercise at my place of work despite all the various forms of assessment. I was able to come out on top, sailing through each phase of the promotion assessment successfully, in the CBT examination, written assessment, and oral interview. At the end of everything, I was pleased with how it all went and know without any atom of doubt that I've passed the promotion exams and that in the next few weeks I'll be promoted to a higher level at my place of work.
The blessing of the previous week didn't end there, because this very month and year I also got married to my best friend, the bond of my bond and the flesh of the flesh, the woman in woman whom I'm pleased with and adore with all of my heart. Having all these plays out this year makes it seem like I'm living in a fantasy island because she's made me become the happiest person alive, and I pray we enjoy each other's company till the end of time. Although the year hasn't come to an end, I'm open to many more blessings and dreams being fulfilled before the year runs out.
