Today, almost two months after the end of summer, which has extended into autumn, generating a warm and beautiful climate until a few days ago when the light, soft and distant rains began, I remember the first days of this past summer as well as the last ones.

In a previous post I compared the summer of this city and the summer of my hometown, the big difference between the two and how I suffered the summer there and how I started to get very fond of this kind of summer. One that doesn't have killing temperatures, although it is quite humid, as opposed to the dry and suffocating summer of BahΓa Blanca, the city in Argentina where I was born.
There I suffered every day because of my low blood pressure and here I enjoy it, besides having the beach which I love, although it is not just around the corner, I can reach it by bus.

But I think it all started with the day of San Juan, a very important festival here in Spain where it is celebrated on the beach with lots of people and fireworks. Well, I think that on that day, the first time I went to this festival, I missed the beach where the fireworks were and ended up somewhere else.
It was just the beginning of summer and the days were beautiful, warm but mild and that night there were many people on the beach. I took few pictures, because I was really hoping to see the lights in the sky. That didn't happen, but I had a good time with my family.

I think the whole of Malaga was on the spot, plus the festivity could be enjoyed on several of the beaches. But there was also already a lot of tourism. I could hardly get a spot from the promenade to take the pictures.
People were very cheerful and fun and many groups of friends and families gathered for this festivity.

I must say that this summer was the best ever in terms of temperatures. It did not exceed at any time the highest I have experienced since I have been in this city and the days have been very pleasant, whether for walking, hiking, going to the beach or just having a good time in a park having a cool drink.

Whenever I have the chance I go to the beach, I love it, although this summer for various reasons I have gone much less, and whenever I go I love to take pictures of what I see around me. Many times those pictures are only for me and I don't share them, but today I bring you some of them, even the ones I take when I look at the sky when I come back from the beach.
Now I try to make the most of the summer because I like it more and more every day, I am not sure if it is because of the beach or because the heat is not suffocating and killing, but because it is beautiful everywhere and the sun illuminates everything in a different way.

The last two days I went to the beach I enjoyed them in a different way, one of them walking along the shore feeling the foam touch my feet like soft cool caresses already because the water feels cooler in late September and early October, and the other one having a picnic on the grassy area under the palm trees.

Unlike summer proper, by the end of summer clouds are beginning to show, the sun is coming down more quickly and the reflections on the trees and palms are different, the shadows longer and the water bluer. I like to pay attention to all the details, to understand nature.
There were still tourists, but more locals who enjoy the quieter beach, with less people. I also like the solitary beaches, for me alone, the feeling is different, I appreciate more the aromas of the sea, the sounds of the breeze and the birds and above all the sound of the sea that I like so much, it motivates me and relaxes me.

I think that today I identify summer very much with the sea, the sun, happiness, good spirits and life in the open air, travelling lighter, without heavy coats, for example. In this place and with the passage of time I learned to enjoy another kind of summer, one that is stable, harmonious and with an accompanying warmth. That's how I see summer now, the place has changed my perspective on it and now let's say we are friends.
Here summer is already gone, but in many other countries it will start very soon to continue to share our summer vibes here.
Thank you very much for joining me today, I send you my best regards. See you soon.
Amonet.
All photographs are my own.

Good morning, dear friend @avdesing
It's wonderful that you've found summer suits you so well in the city of MΓ‘laga, and that you're able to enjoy this beautiful time of year.
It must have been quite an experience visiting the seafront with your loved ones and enjoying this lovely celebration.
The beaches there are beautiful; I appreciate you sharing these lovely photos with us.
Have a wonderful day!
Now I tell you that I can enjoy it in the summer, not suffer it and that I have discovered how beautiful it is! Thank you very much!
Hello Amonet
You've chosen a great city to live in; the weather is much better for you, and the places you always show us are beautiful. I really like the beaches; actually, I like everything about your city.
I'm so glad you enjoyed your summer. Your walks along the beaches have been lovely.
Have a wonderful day!
Soon I will visit more beaches, I am waiting for a day of full sun, they are more beautiful. Thank you very much!
Good morning @avdesing. I didn't expect to see so many people on one of your posts. The Night of San Juan is very important in the Mediterranean region; we celebrate it here, but it's nothing like the celebrations on the Mediterranean coast.
I also noticed, amidst all that blue sky, some beautifully designed clouds... I thought you didn't have that kind of thing over there.
I'm so glad you were able to enjoy a less hot summer than usual and that you made the most of it. It doesn't surprise me that you associate summer with happiness, the sea, the sun, and open spaces... you're practically a MalagueΓ±a now.
Thank you for sharing these magnificent photographs.
Big hugs.

I think you always think that Malaga is empty hahaha without people, but I don't like to take pictures of people, but here it was inevitable!
They celebrate with bonfires and fireworks, but this time I couldn't take pictures of that, only of the people.π€£
I've sometimes thought that in Malaga there are no people, only cats. π€£

There are times when you terrify me!!

How amazing what you say at the beginning about blood pressure during the summer in Argentina! It seems that even the place where we live can affect us a lot without us even realizing it, and only the change of environment makes us notice. A few days ago, my husband was saying that when we've gone to Europe, he hasn't had migraines on our trips, but as soon as he gets back, the headaches return. I thought it was just him, but now that I've read your post, I know it could be possible.
The photos here are beautiful, especially those at the beginning where it's nighttime and everyone is still wearing comfortable beachwear. I imagine it's because of the heat. I experienced summer in Milan once, and wow, it can be hotter than Venezuela if it wants to be! What a lovely post! I also loved the photos of the sky and those straight lines that formed.
In Argentina the heat is terrible, it takes away the air and you can't breathe, I suffered a lot, too much, but here I'm fine. My brother used to suffer from migraines and asthma, but not here anymore. There are many things in the air too... Be careful with that. Those lines in the sky... they are not normal, that's what I can say, they shouldn't be there.
The night pictures are from the end of June but there were so few that I didn't know what to do with them, here I could tell about that event. Thank you very much!
Thank you for this sunny and happy post, so perfect to warm us now in this cold day. San Juan is a special day here in the Alicante area as well; it is a huge event!
Muchas gracias @avdesing, I was happy to see you bringing these summer vibes π
Now it will be summer on the other side, we will see who publishes here. I think now it will be time for collections, rocks and so on haha but I remember those days and they were great! Thanks to you!
This has great summer vibes. I have barely seen the sun in over a month, so this is fun to see. This pic has wonderful composition.
Here the cold has arrived, right now 12 degrees, I needed a bit of summer! Thank you!
That is cold!

Such a great and much-needed post to rekindle a corner that had gone quiet.
Hug!
It's according to inspiration, I had summer inspiration, but I don't forget the fantasy!!!! Thank you very much!
