Welcome to the very first CTPSB post in 2024! Before the end of the year, I tried to rethink the curation of CTPSB and I had an issue with giveaway posts. There were some interesting comments on that and I have meanwhile revised this issue. In the video, I share my thoughts with you.
We have also paid the dividends to the delegators of the project and you will find the numbers of this week in the video as well.

This is the Prize Pot for the coming CTPSB Challenges. The idea of this pot is simple. All the income generated by this account is delegated out and this generates a return. This return is then distributed to the winners of the challenges.
I think it's a good compromise. The copy paste stuff is bad and I changed around my own weekly giveaway after risingstar implemented some new guidelines. I think it has changed for the better to an extent. People need to do more than just change the winner and a picture or two.
I agree that most giveaway posts have become better lately and I think that the guidelines of risingstar contributed to it.
Happy 2024! That is great you have reviewed this and we have a compromise. I am mostly against daily giveaway posts that are copy/paste the same, as it is too much, but some people make some interesting weekly giveaway posts and they can be fun.
It's not easy to draw a line between what is good and what is bad. I just think that I want to avoid supporting real copy paste stuff, meaning 90% same content of the post from one day to the next.
