Hello! Wonderful people of Wednesday Walk! It has been a while since I last posted here. I hope you welcome me again with an open and cheerful heart.
A wander is something I enjoy doing when visiting a new place or one I want to return to.
First and foremost, a sunscreen stick is a must when I walk on a very sunny day at the beach.
This was part of my trip to Bolihon, a coastal area. This is just one of the beaches here. A fish sanctuary is also near the area. I walked around the resort and found something interesting and fun.
I saw fur friends. These dogs are roaming around the resort to ask for food. They do not harm. The dogs are free to roam around the beach. They are simply there to look for food and wait to be fed. That is truly their only purpose: to thrive and survive. These two are hairy and cute. One has a black fur around his eye that looks like a black eye. They may be siblings.
This one is just relaxing and taking a nap. Minding its own business.
The brown dog must be hungry and looks tired.
Oh, this mama must already have grown up puppies. Her fur isn't healthy at all. But she doesn't look unfed. What a pity.
This friend has a unique, dark tiger-striped fur color. He said, "It's so itchy I have to scratch it". kra kra kra... "That felt better."
This girl must be tired from hunting and asking for food. He said, "I'll nap whenever and wherever I want. I don't care what everybody does on the sand, and I don't care about you hoomans." lol
I also found beautiful flowers. One of them is special because it has medicinal properties—its name is Madagascar Periwinkle. This periwinkle is a key ingredient in the controversial chemotherapy drug. I read an article about it. I have drunk this medicinal tea before, and its effects were amazing. I felt extremely active and full of energy, with my mind functioning exceptionally well. That was my observation. But I didn't take the tea every day, as it can be dangerous.
A wonderful cactus.
Bright yellow flowers caught my eye. Its leaves are healthy, dark green. I spotted this lovely red flower that would look so nice hanging from my ear, but I decided not to take it. It's a shame to let such a beautiful bloom go to waste.
As I made my way to the other side, I couldn't help but notice that the entire building on the left stood empty and abandoned. On the opposite side, only open cottages were left. If they renovate the entire place, it will be much more attractive, encouraging more people to visit and check in at the resort.
Bolihon was here when I was in college. It was built early 2000s.
Going back, I captured ate, frying our delicious chicken next to the two large cement chests while using the handy orange gas stove.
My niece, with her camera, was looking at her shots.
Finally, I had to relax. We bought "Salvaro", a cassava cracker that is thin, crispy, and oval-shaped with melted brown sugar. It's everybody's favorite snack. So irresistible!
It was a fantastic day, and I felt grateful to walk to the place I had longed to visit. A simple yet fulfilling experience.
That is all for now.
Thank you for walking with me.

Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk
Have a great day :)
I so love it, too. You're right, early morning walks before sunrise are ideal.
Oh, you must bring sunblock with you in case you need it.
My pleasure, and have a great day as well. More power Wednesday Walk, @tattoodjay !
Cheers and yes I have sunblock in my camera bag for when I need it ;)
That's great! 🙏
I love how flowers blooms nicely on this fine day.
Yes, they add beauty around. 🌺🌼🌸
I love all the pups. Here they would be rounded up and neutered. SPF 100 looks well cool. I generally don't see anything over 50.
Beautiful day and did you do what your niece did and check your pictures lol!
Nice wee snack to finish off.
The pups were nice and looked into your eyes. Yes, SPF100 is a great shield. haha
I did check the photos on my phone. Her camera is way better than my phone camera:(
Thank you, amigo! @tengolotodo !
Hehe yea good camera will beat a phone. My only problem using my camera is it is a pallava getting them off the memory card and editing for a blog etc, so my phone is much easier!
Hehe way sapayan @celestyne15
Exactly! Phone is much easier and convenient. It's such a hassle to remove the memory card and insert it into the laptop. I was already doing that back in the early 2000s. 😂
Hehe we were ahead of the game, and now it feels going backwards lol
Yeah, right! haha
Although I did use my camera a couple of weeks ago, I have hundreds of pictures on memory cards I need to make posts about!
