I was just reading this today! I am so sorry that little guy is having issues. It is scary not knowing what will be happening, I am sure. Sometimes, they forget to reassure along the way, making it more understandable.

Thank you soooo much. Yes, he is a brave boy. He is well now and happy. Going to celebrate his 8th birthday. Doctor still hopes he grows fast. Now still at the size of 4 years old. But, yup - Slow and steady win to race. =)
Slow and steady wins the race. I lived near a set of fraternal twins about ten years ago. They were ten at the time, but, the size of six-year-olds. It was an endocrinological problem, and it was resolved with treatments when they were going through puberty. They are normal boys for their age now. Almost average. And very happy, but, then, they always were.
