A somewhat new norm has begun for us since 23rd Apr where social distancing policy has been eased off for the entire country. Nevertheless, the Govt still maintains and encourage its citizens to constantly be aware of their hygiene and sanitation. People start to return back to their offices to work permanently and the vehicles on the streets multiply by the tens and hundreds each day. I do appreciate that these motorcyclist takes the extra effort not to stay too close to one another as compared to before.
Though I do pity that due to the pandemic, many have been left jobless. Many businesses are either permanently or temporarily closed till further notice. Several friends whom I know needed to opt for side jobs such as part-time Grab driver just to make ends meet. If daily eating out with family and friends is a norm, it is now no longer a must do activity. Restaurants are so empty with plenty of seats available.
Grab Drivers be it for cars or motorbikes are left waiting for passengers since there is no tourist in town. Majority of the locals have their own transportation so there is no need to call for them. My only fear is that if this continues, thief cases will rise and who knows what else.
I don't deny that I too am very careful with my expenses now. Never know what to expect each and every day. Some works nonstop while others just takes it day by day. We're having a four-days holiday plus weekend break; the second longest holiday in Vietnam. If not for this pandemic, I would've gone back home to my family. So, for the next four days, I'm going to occupy myself with HIVE, TV, Cooking, Grocery Shopping, Gym Exercise and a bit of the outdoors.
I've been so much of a potato couch that I'm starting not to enjoy the sun. It's also time to get my photography skills back on track and catch more of the people and life outside my apartment. Am really getting sick of taking my own home cooking food shot and the local wet market near my apartment. 😎

I am looking forward to the pollen levels to drop and the Virus to pass so I can get back out walking and taking photos again soon
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :)
