You have done a good job improving these photos in Lightroom. I wouldn't have thought they were taken with such an old camera.

This is not even a camera, but a digital video camera. She recorded the signal on tape. But it could work in photo camera mode. It was interesting to conduct this experiment.

I have never heard of such a soap box camera, so I thought it would be just a name for a photo camera - then your job was even better to get the photos from the tape to your computer :)

I hope your numbers of infections will decrease soon so that they will loosen your measures too, like our lifes should get back to as close to "normal" as possible soon.
This camera is still alive, but I don’t know if there are cassettes for it.
I think that on the weekend of May I will definitely fall into the forest. I don't think anyone can stop me :D
Yes, that's the problem with older technical devices - they work, but you might not be able to get spare parts or material you need for them to work. Ebay might be a place where you could find such cassettes ;)
During the whole time of lockdown nobody could stop me if I wanted to go somewhere. I have been alone anyway and have almost never met anyone on my paths. But somehow most of the times I have even not felt like going somewhere - just had a bad feeling about it. Hopefully this will change now when our measures and restrictions are loosened.
Yes, you should definitely go out and have a good time ... recharge your batteries and have a look if the nature has changed ;)

I don’t think it’s a good idea to reanimate that camera. She is too weak and it does not have much zest. Normal weak camera. Another thing is to find the old lens and try it. There are different surprises.
Yes, nobody stopped me either. But the very likelihood that someone could start to do this discouraged the desire to leave far from home. And the weather was not very cheerful. Now another thing. I just feel what I need in the forest :-)

I didn't go far away from home neither and only to places where I knew that I wouldn't meet anybody.
