If I have to describe that walk, that day, only in a few words and phrases, probably that would be sometime like:
Scenery calm and tranquil walk that started on a narrow peace of land between a lake and the sea, featuring beauty in Nature, a lot of wildlife and strolling around the salt museum of Pomorie, on the shores of Black Sea in Bulgaria.
Now, allow me to break this lovely experience down for those of you who would like to read more.
Let me also note here, that before posting, I research online for some interesting info about this place, as it has been known for centuries for its healing features, related to the black mud found here and the salt production. What stunned me, though, is the fact that the museum web site is down, probably no more European funding, I can't tell, and the two best web pages I found are only in Bulgarian. The wiki page is only in two languages, but no English. However, if you're interested, plenty of free online translators, right ;) You could find the links at the bottom part of the post.
Now, back to the first-hand experiences :)
Our walk started with this narrow and long piece of land separating the Lake of Pomorie and Black Sea (to the right-hand side of that picture below).
I can tell you it was really a sensational feeling as I could smell how different was the air coming from the lake, compared to the air from the sea.
Thankfully, there wasn't a strong wind blowing that day...
The sand here is black, soft and quite "sticky".
It takes a lot of effort to walk on it but it's something great to do to your feet and legs!
In certain months of the year, plenty of poppies blossom, and the contrast of the red with the colors of the sea and shore are quite scenery.
The city of Pomorie is close despite looking too far away. Due to the myriad of hotels and medical facilities built at the shore it wasn't possible to walk from and to the city on foot by the sea, we had to use our car.
Now this yellow blossoming plant we call "sea cucumber". It's "fruits" look more like gherkins and kids love to play with them because when you sneeze them, the seeds eject with amazing speed and spread far away :)
That black beach is really something, isn't it?
Shells, tiny white pebbles, it almost looks Black & White!
It seems the wild birds around love this area, especially near the salt pans and the wildlife visitor center.
This may see romantic and check this out now:
I loved how silence could turn for an instance into a choir of chirping!
What do they do? Sometimes it's quite a mystery, hehehe.
The birds particularly loved this small isle in the middle of the pans, for its solitude, I guess. Not easy to be accessed by other animals and people too.
Yes, the raw salt isn't clean, as the method of production here is by evaporating sea water in the hot months of the year.
It was a wonderful and educative walk. Real pleasure!
Now, here are the promised links with the best info about the areas visited:

I am not surprised that walking through this beautiful place has been sensational, since it is very beautiful dear friend @lightcaptured Without a doubt the poppies beautify the landscape with their vivid colors
I didn't know about sea cucumbers, I love the colors and shapes of their flowers
The sea looks incredible, black sand beaches is the first time I have seen
I really appreciate that you let us know about this hiking experience, beautiful photographs
Thank you! I think it got its name, Black Sea, not only because it looks darker than the other seas around. That sea could be quite dramatic in some seasons, apart from the summer when it's dull the most of the days :)
Congratulations, your post has been added to Pinmapple! 🎉🥳🍍

The #PGM tag should only be used for gaming-related content! Please no longer use it for posts that are not gaming-related.
Duly noted. I've been investing in it for quite some time and I didn't know about that. As I don't post about gaming that much that means I have to unstake and sell it then?
What would you recommend please?
all the functions of PGM remain, the only thing that needs to be fixed is the use of the tag, this will not interfere with your investments
Funny. I just checked your latest post. It is not about gaming but also has PGM tag. LMAO.
Double standards?
Dude , I am the creator of PGM , my last post talks about a token that will be part of the PGM ecosystem...
