La Semana Santa llegó a Maracay con una gran afluencia de personas que buscan escapar de la rutina urbana y conectar con la naturaleza yo ya habia planificado con de amigos para subir al cerro en los dias santos asi que no hubo ningun contratiempo durante y despues del viaje . Un grupo de entusiastas de senderismo aprovechó esta oportunidad para organizar una caminata al Cerro Hotel Maracay en donde todos entre risas y jugadera entre todos fuimos subiendo poco a poco , un destino popular para aquellos que buscan adrenalina y paisajes impresionantes de la ciudad de Maracay y sus montañas o laderas a los costados .

Easter came to Maracay with a large influx of people looking to escape the urban routine and connect with nature. I had already planned with friends to climb the hill on the holy days so there were no setbacks during and after the trip. A group of hiking enthusiasts took this opportunity to organize a hike to the Cerro Hotel Maracay where we were all laughing and playing with each other as we climbed little by little, a popular destination for those seeking adrenaline and breathtaking scenery of the city of Maracay and its mountains or slopes on the sides.
El Grupo de SenderistasNuestro grupo estuvo compuesto por 15 personas con diferentes niveles de experiencia en senderismo ya que no discriminamos a nadie aqui todos son bienvenidos para cada aventura por las montañas , pero todos compartimos un deseo común disfrutar al maximo cada aventura del cerro maracay y que todos podamos disfrutar al maximo esta experiencia con la naturaleza: explorar el Cerro Hotel Maracay y disfrutar del paisaje sus caminos bien delineados y delimitados para que nadie se pierda o agarre por otros caminos . Con nuestras mochilas listas y nuestros pies preparados para la aventura, nos dirigimos hacia el destino nuestro gran destino la cima del cerro hotel maracay en el estado Aragua, Venezuela .
**Our group was composed of 15 people with different levels of hiking experience because we do not discriminate anyone here everyone is welcome for every adventure in the mountains, but we all share a common desire to enjoy the most of each adventure of the Cerro Maracay and that we can all enjoy the most of this experience with nature: explore the Cerro Hotel Maracay and enjoy the scenery and its well delineated and delimited paths so that no one gets lost or grab for other roads. With our backpacks ready and our feet prepared for adventure, we headed towards our great destination, the top of the Cerro Hotel Maracay in the state of Aragua, Venezuela.
La Aventura Comienza
Al llegar al Cerro Hotel Maracay todos tanto los nuevos como los viejos empezaron a disfrutar de las bellas vistas que este cerro nos permite ver desde lo lejos el estado aragua o Maracay para ser exactos , nos dimos cuenta de que el lugar estaba lleno de personas si habia mucha gente ya que era feriado yo pense que todos estarian en las costas del estado . La Semana Santa es un feriado largo en Venezuela donde la gran mayoria se van para las playas yo preferi irme para maracay a hacer senderismo , y muchos se han escapado a Maracay para disfrutar de la naturaleza como yo de caracas me vine hacer algo diferente estas semana santa fuera y lejos de todo lo cotidiano . A pesar de la multitud, nos sentimos emocionados de comenzar nuestra caminata entre cantos y alegrías por vernos de nuevo e incluso conocernos yo por lo general me caracterizo por conocer a alguien en cada ruta que hago .
**The Adventure Begins
Arriving at the Cerro Hotel Maracay all both new and old began to enjoy the beautiful views that this hill allows us to see from afar the state of Aragua or Maracay to be exact, we realized that the place was full of people if there were many people since it was a holiday I thought everyone would be on the coasts of the state . Easter is a long holiday in Venezuela where the vast majority go to the beaches , I preferred to go to Maracay to go hiking , and many have escaped to Maracay to enjoy nature as I came from Caracas to do something different this Easter away from all the daily routine . Despite the crowd, we were excited to start our hike between songs and joy to see each other again and even know each other I usually characterize myself for meeting someone on each route I do.
El SenderoEl sendero que elegimos para nuestra caminata era un camino bien delimitado y moderado que nos llevó a través de una selva densa y exuberante que caracteriza a nuestras montañas venezolanas . El sol estaba alto en el cielo con algo de brisa se dejaba llevar es decir no habia calor ni ese sol caliente de la semana santa , y el calor no se hizo presente en esta oportunidad , pero nuestra determinación nos impulsó a seguir adelante como en cada ruta tambien nadie del grupo se queda atras todos juntos y asu ritmo . El camino se tornó levemente empinado , y tuvimos que usar nuestras manos para subir en algunos puntos para los que no estan acostumbrados a este tipo de vida para los veteranos ya es pan comido . La vista del cerro de Maracay era impresionante, y cada paso nos llevó a una nueva perspectiva para quienes no lo conocen aunque la gran mayoria si lo conocia como yo .
**The trail we chose for our hike was a well marked and moderate path that took us through a dense and lush jungle that characterizes our Venezuelan mountains. The sun was high in the sky with some breeze was carried away that is to say there was no heat or that hot sun of Easter, and the heat was not present in this opportunity, but our determination pushed us to move forward as in every route also no one in the group is left behind all together and their pace. The road became slightly steep, and we had to use our hands to climb at some points for those who are not used to this kind of life for veterans is already a piece of cake. La Parada del Dron
Después de varias horas de caminata llegamos a nuestro destino la cima del cerro otel maracay , nuestro amigo decidido a unirse a nosotros para la aventura sacó su dron y comenzó a grabar nuestra ruta solo donde nosotros estabamos o el grupo entero . Estaba emocionado de mostrarnos cómo pilotar el dron y enseñarnos las características de este dispositivo DJI chino uno de los mejores dron para viajeros voy a ver siconsigo una afiliación con DJI es mi sueño trabajr para esa marca nada mas que me regale un articulo nuevo de todos los que tiene yo hago promo gratis todo los dia sjajajja . Le pedimos que tomara algunas fotos y nos mostrara cómo volar el dron el acepto a enseñame todos los movimientos y trucos para aprender a volar ya que yo quiero uno para mi pero es muy costoso . La perspectiva desde arriba del Cerro Hotel Maracay fue impresionante el solo queria volar cerca tenia miedo de que se le perdiera el dron yo mas abusado le dije hazme unas tomas mas lejos de las montañas del estado araua y el con gusto acepto a regañadientes .

After several hours of hiking we arrived at our destination the top of the hill otel maracay , our friend decided to join us for the adventure took out his drone and began to record our route only where we were or the whole group . He was excited to show us how to fly the drone and teach us the features of this Chinese DJI device one of the best drone for travelers I will see if I get an affiliation with DJI is my dream to work for that brand just give me a new item of all they have I do free promo all day sjajajajja . We asked him to take some pictures and show us how to fly the drone and he agreed to teach me all the moves and tricks to learn how to fly since I want one for myself but it is very expensive. The perspective from the top of the Cerro Hotel Maracay was awesome he just wanted to fly close he was afraid he would lose the drone I more abused I told him do me some shots further away from the mountains of araua state and he gladly accepted reluctantly.
Aprendiendo a Pilotar un Dron
Mi amigo se ofreció a enseñarme a pilotar el dron yo fui el que hizo algunas de las tomas gracias a su enseñanza y dedicacion . Me enseñó las leyes básicas del vuelo como el viento, la altura , la brujula y los satelites que cestas para poder volar , cómo manejar la dirección y cómo capturar imágenes y videos de alta calidad todo lo fotográfico de esta nueva herramienta de fotografia aerea . Me sentí emocionado de aprender algo nuevo y estar en el lugar perfecto para practicar estaba en exitacion total ya que es mi primera experienca yo como piloto de dron muy emocionado y nervioso a la vez .
**Learning to Fly a Drone
My friend offered to teach me how to fly the drone and I was the one who took some of the shots thanks to his teaching and dedication. He taught me the basic laws of flight such as wind, altitude, compass and satellites that baskets to be able to fly , how to handle the steering and how to capture high quality images and videos everything photographic of this new aerial photography tool . I felt excited to learn something new and to be in the perfect place to practice I was in total exitacion since it is my first experience as a drone pilot very excited and nervous at the same time.
La Experiencia de SenderismoDespués de una caminata de aproximadamente 5 horas ida y vuelta luego de ver estas fotografias me emocione mucho mas de lo aprendido en esta dia , decidimos tomar un descanso y disfrutar del paisaje comer algo rico y sabroso, contar los cuentos de las novias o parejas etc . El sol estaba comenzando a ponerse ya era hora de regresar a nuestros destino ya , y la vista del cerro de Maracay era pura magia sabrosa la experiencia vivida aqui en este dia lleno de gente querida y desconocidos . Compartimos nuestras historias y los momentos más destacados de la caminata para mi el vuelo y lo aprendido que se repita proximamente con uno mio , y nos sentimos orgullosos de haber completado esta aventura entre panas senderistas .
**After a hike of about 5 hours round trip after seeing these pictures I got much more excited about what I learned on this day, we decided to take a break and enjoy the scenery eat something rich and tasty, tell the stories of girlfriends or couples etc. . The sun was beginning to set and it was time to return to our destination already, and the view of the hill of Maracay was pure magic , tasty experience lived here on this day full of dear people and strangers . We shared our stories and highlights of the hike for me the flight and what we learned that will be repeated soon with one of my own , and we were proud to have completed this adventure among fellow hikers .
Conclusión
La caminata al Cerro Hotel Maracay durante la Semana Santa fue una experiencia de senderismo memorable y agradable de compartir con los desconocidos y los guias de esta aventura . A pesar de la multitud y el sol se paso rico y divino por mi parte muy agradable , disfrutamos de la belleza natural del lugar y de la compañía de nuestros amigos quienes muy amablemente compartieron conmigo esta aventura . La oportunidad de aprender a pilotar un dron y tomar fotos aéreas del paisaje fue un regalo adicional que nos regala la vida los amigos y nuestras propias vivencias del dia a dia . Esperamos regresar pronto y seguir explorando las montañas de Maracay seguro que si volvere con dron propio y le agregaría atardeceres o algo nocturno tipo yo .

The hike to the Cerro Hotel Maracay during Holy Week was a memorable and pleasant hiking experience to share with strangers and the guides of this adventure. Despite the crowds and the sun it was a very pleasant and divine experience, we enjoyed the natural beauty of the place and the company of our friends who very kindly shared this adventure with me. The opportunity to learn to fly a drone and take aerial photos of the landscape was an additional gift that life gives us friends and our own day to day experiences. We hope to come back soon and continue exploring the mountains of Maracay , for sure I will come back with my own drone and I would add sunsets or something nocturnal like me .
