Hello, friends! Today is Thursday, and that means it's bazaar day in Istanbul where we live. I love going to the bazaar, choosing fresh fruits and vegetables, smelling the aroma of juicy olives and hearing the loud calls of the local sellers. It has its own special charm.

Everyone goes to the bazaar here. People love fresh groceries and prefer them over supermarket goods. Here you can always taste before you buy anything.

The first thing I saw was the plates. Yes, there are plates in the local bazaar. I'll say more, there are even clothes, various home goods and jewelry. Some models of these plates I saw in stores, but the prices are very high. Here for one beautiful plate they ask for 1 - 1,5 $. I bought two plates: big one for salads and a smaller one for second courses.

You probably know that Turkey is rich in spices and you can easily get convinced of that at the bazaar. A lot of different spices, neatly laid out on the stalls, attract with their color and variety. It should be noted that Turks are very fond of spices and in any Turkish kitchen there is a huge number of different spices. All housewives know how to combine spices and products.

Herbal teas are also popular here. Tea from linden, rose hips, thyme, chamomile - very useful and even used to treat various diseases. Therefore, in the cold season, I would recommend drinking herbal teas to maintain immunity.

Fruits and vegetables in the bazaar are always fresh and delicious. You can choose the most suitable broccoli and cauliflower.

It's pumpkin season in Turkey, so pumpkin can be found here at every stall. The sellers cut the pumpkin into pieces and wrap it in food wrapping. All you have to do is pick your favorite piece.

Avocado is my all-time favorite fruit. I could eat it every day and I would absolutely never get bored of it. The flavor and consistency of this fruit is like no other. You can easily find a huge number of recipes with this beautiful fruit. And what's more, it contains so many vitamins and nutrients! This superfood is a must in your daily nutrition.

It seems like a simple garlic, but how much aesthetics in it. I believe that Turks are one of the few who know how to create a successful trade. How to sell garlic? Easy! Add some beautiful sticks with leaves to a bunch of garlic and carefully lay it out on the stall. Well Done!

Words would be needless here.... I was lucky enough to get such a juicy shot thanks to the sunshine. The tomatoes shine from within and it looks as if they've been waxed.

There is a wide variety of all sorts of cereals and beans in this picture. Something that is hard to imagine a delicious Turkish dinner without. Red and green lentils are in great demand here. And all because it is also very useful. Turks know that health is the most important thing in life. That is why they always try to watch their diet and buy only quality products.

And now the most delicious part - Turkish dried fruits! There are many different dried fruits - starting from apricots and ending with mangoes. Personally, my favorites are strawberries, figs and cherries. I like to add dried fruit to oatmeal or yogurt. Such a breakfast is nourishing, tasty and healthy.

Also our family loves cheese. Everyone has their own taste and preferences, so we like to buy several kinds of cheese. For example, Eren really likes white Turkish cheese and I love Dutch cheese.

We also discovered olives at a neighboring stall. This was the first time I saw purple and pink olives. Don't be scared, there are no chemical additives here at all. The olives are colored with natural dyes - beets and purple sweet potatoes. It looks very spectacular, and the flavor is amazing!

Sellers really like to lay out their goods neatly so that customers pay attention. Look at these pyramids of oranges and onions - I think it really takes attention.

The greens are sprayed with water so they are always fresh and flavorful.

Great selection of nuts and dried fruits of all kinds at affordable prices - like only in the bazaar. Store nuts and dried fruits are always more expensive and much worse in quality.

Just before the exit there was a big stall with seafood. Again, just look at how masterfully the products are laid out. Fish is plentifully watered so that it does not get weathered, and in the summer - next to the seafood they put ice. In this way, fish will not spoil in the heat and will be safe to eat.
