Birthday present... What should it be for you? Personally, the best gift for me on my trip is a rental car :) And I got it from my friend for three weeks! In honor of my anniversary of driving abroad. So, I went on a cruise through the best cities of Turkey, which I have long dreamed of! A breath of fresh air in my #TheLongestTrip….

Of course, there will be a separate post about each of these cities. And today I will describe an exciting walk that I got in between fast driving. So, we left in the direction of the city of Kash. And the first city we passed was Finike. Outside the city, the road ran along serpentines and I asked my daughters to photograph the magical views of the sea and rocks. You can see the road in the photo, which is surprisingly steep!

On the way, we stopped at the village of Demre, where there are amazing ancient Lycian rock tombs. This is an incredible miracle! I looked at these mystical tombs, built of stone in the mountain, with trepidation in my soul. And there is also an amphitheater. Our goal was to get museum cards that allow you to visit historical places in Turkey for free. And we bought them for 60 lira each.

We arrived in the city of Kash in the evening. After staying in a hotel for one night, we went out to see the evening city. And in the morning we went around the peninsula to see the beautiful views of the sea and islands, which are many here and are covered with greenery and very beautiful!

Colorful flowers bloomed in the mountains on both sides of the road. The air was filled with magical aromas. We stopped every time to take pictures of these fascinating sea pictures! The city with orange roofs looks very beautiful. Kash is very close to Greece. Architecture and the nature here is similar to the Greek island of Chios, where I visited last year.

The most beautiful views were on the observation deck, from where you can see the port and ships

And after our drive around the peninsula, we explored the old town of Kas, which is truly the pearl of Turkey! The unique two-story multi-colored houses on the steep street made a fascinating impression on me :)

Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk, Sorry last week was a bit rough for me and I not only did not get out for any walks, but also was not able to visit all the walks from last week, but feeling better this week and visiting posts again which is always fun for me to visit the walks from all around the world, getting a feel for communities where people live and what they see on their daily walks

No doubt that Antalya has a wonderful natural places. This year, I think to visit the rest of Antalya, perhaps till Hatay where the earthquake occured.

Thanks for the post and letting us see beautiful places.

Yes, Antalya is beautiful. Arriving on April 7 in Çeşme, I was once again convinced of the significant difference between the climate of these two parts of Turkey. The distance is only 500 km, but it is warm in Kemer, and in Cesme there is a constant cold wind, the cold Aegean Sea! Cold nights. But people say: it's better here in the summer.

It must have been great to drive the car on such a road, plus the amazing view. Lovely places too!

Driving a car looking at such beauty is exciting! Thank you for your visit 💕

Wow - the coast looks lovely there, and I love the rock tomb place - that looks so interesting. What a lovely place for you all to explore !!!!

I agree with you. Studying ancient civilizations is very interesting!

No doubt your trip was wonderful, especially the real friend who gave you the car for three weeks, this is a big deal. And to be honest, I thought these two girls in your pictures were your little sisters, because I felt like you would be big sister the way the three of you hang out together and the three of you have such a good understanding but I am very happy to know that you are their mother and they are both your daughters. And the photos you shared with us of your trip are an example of a natural view. All the pictures are beyond stunning and beautiful.

Your comments are great. You really get into the details of my journey and enjoy it with me. I am glad to have a supporter like you. Thank you for the kind words :)

You deserve more than the hard work you go to different places and take pictures for us.

Thank you :)
