Sure will believe you on this one because the one you are holding is very riped. I was walking to my farm yesterday and that was how in my presence a mango fruit fell down right before my presence, at that particular moment I didn't find any reason I shouldn't pick the mango fruit thou am neither the owner of the tree nor the land where the tree is situated.
I understand what you trying to avoid which is very important to me too...

Wow, a mango? I would be super happy if a mango would fall right before me. I would also pick it up 👌
We also have many many orange trees around, it is the region where I live where the most common fruits we have are citrus fruits, almond trees and olive trees. Also, avocado and this loquat, but teh season of this one lasts just for a short time. I was waiting for them to be ripe already for some time :D
